Xaden Riorson - The last dinner

!!SPOILERS FOR IRON FLAME!!

A/N: Ok so crazy I actually dreamt MOST of this and everything is the same, dragons, war college but it's the last year and Bria (you) are bonded to Tairn and Violet is bonded to a red daggertail (like Liams :) ) And Xaden is not Venin but other than that everything is the same. 

And TW: Violence, fighting, blood

"Violet, Rihannon!" I called out towards my bestfriends as they dismounted off their dragons.

"Bria!!" They yell out in unison as we all go into a group hug.

I can't believe we're here. At our graduation!

"How was your flight?" I asked.

"Oh it was the best! We came across some Venin but we fought them off," Violet said as she flipped her sliver braided hair over her shoulder.

"Yeah Violet was a badass fighting them with her lightning!" Rhinannon laughed while she slapped Violet's back.

"Well I'm glad that you guys weren't hurt," I said with a smile on my face.

We all looked at each other in silence with smiles on our faces. Though we're all excited for graduation, we're all going to be assigned to different posts. 

And then the realisation sets in for all of us but before anyone can say anything Rhiannon says softly, "I'm going to head up to my room, I'll see you guys tonight for our last dinner," she said sadly but witha slight smile on her face.

Violet and I waved her off as she left to her dorm.

Violet and I were close, while Violet's sister had been older than her and never had a good role model around I was there for her and now I see her as my baby sister and I hope she can see me as someone she can trust with her whole heart.

"How are you Bria?" Violet suddenly asked.

"Me? Oh yeah I'm great just sad and shocked," I replied with a chuckle as Violet chuckled along.

"Yeah it's crazy, feels like just yesterday we were crossing parapet," Violet chuckled as the memory passed by us. 

I had known Rhiannon before we had joined Basgiath war college and she wore some stupid boots that I told her NOT to wear and thanks to Violet she had survived conscription day. 

"I'm still grateful you know," I said as we walked back to our dorms.

"I'm glad that she didn't fall," Violet had replied with a smile that turned to a frown.

We were all upset that we'd be assigned different posts but we told eachother we'd still write to eachother.

"It'll be ok Violet," I finally say as we reach my dorm.

"I know it will be," She replied with a smile and nod and then walked away.

"Thank god that's done, there's no reason to get so emotional tiny rider," Tairn grumbled through my mind, he clearly was in such a great mood.

"Oh Tairn you can't tell me you're not going to miss the others," I replied back through my mind back to Tairn's as I opened my dorm room 

"Oh I forgot to tell you, you have a visitor," Tairn said a little less annoyed.

"Who?" I asked and Tairn had said something but I couldn't hear him as Xaden Riorson, my boyfriend was standing in my room waiting for me.

As soon as he saw me his smile grew and I ran and jumped into his arms and he spun me around.
