Chapter 14

After half an hour, I decided to go sit in the sand. Kylie was there, tanning. "Are you enjoying yourself? You're usually out there longer." Kylie said. "Eh, just decided I'd tan as well." I said as I laid my pale body against the hot sand. "Autumn!" Austyn said, running towards me. "What?" I snapped, clearly I was enjoying my tanning session. I glanced at my arms and legs, nothing changed. "There's two cute guy that Char and I found, and you have Cody, let's go to the boardwalk, they have carnival rides. I lifted myself up, and tapped on Kylie, she was knocked out. I'll just text her if she freaks out. "Let's go," I said slipping on my clothes and flipflops. Everyone else tagged behind me. Once we got to the boardwalk, I got the chance to meet Dave, and Sawyer, the two boys that my friends met. Sawyer was pretty hot, but I couldn't steal him from Austyn. "We should go on the Topsey Turvy!" Char said. "Mm, good idea." I said. We all arrived in line, and I leaned against the fence. As we neared the line, everyone was required to take off any kind of jewelry they had. Cody hesitated. "Sir, do we have to?" he asked the operator of the ride. "If you want to keep your stuff safe, I suggest you take it off." he said scratching his bald head. "I think I'll be set." Cody said quickly walking past the man and took a seat in the front. I followed him, and sat next to him. Austyn and Sawyer were opposite of us, and Char and Dave were on the sides.

The ride started and immediately, we were jolted into the air. "AHHHHH!!" I screamed, clutching on to Cody. Everyone else was laughing and I was mortified. Once the ride had ended, I decided that was enough for me. "I'm heading back to the room guys. Catch ya later." I said. "Wait for us!" Austyn and Char said in unison. "Are you coming?" I asked Cody. "Nah, I'll stick around with these two." he said pointing at Sawyer and Dave. I ran to the room with the girls and I plopped on the bed. "Let's dig in his bag!" Char said. "Huh?" I said sleepily. "We can find out more about him if we go through his stuff." Char said. Austyn and her picked up Cody's black duffle bag and opened it. "Oh my god." Austyn said. I shot up, "What?" "There's blood, in those hospital bag things." Char said. I got up and took a glance in his bag. About fifteen of them sat in the bottom of his bag. "What the hell?" I said clutching my chest.
