When I got home, I tossed my bag to the side. I was glad it started pouring, soccer practice got canceled, but I was a little upset to see that my dad wasn't home yet. "Well, well, well, if it isn't little miss vampire." a voice said from behind the couch. I turned around and saw my older cousin Kylie. "KYLIE!" I said as I leapt over the couch and into her arms. "Hey, kiddo." she said kissing my cheek. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I've flown in for a week. Seattle was a bore." she said examining her nails. "Have you heard from my dad?" I asked. "He's working late. It's you and I, now how about we paint nails?" Kylie asked pulling out a huge bag of nail polish. After I painted my nails a bloody red, I heard a knock at the door. "Got it." I said running towards the door. I opened it and my jaw nearly dropped. "Hey, Autumn. I, uh.. for you." he said handing me a bouquet of flowers. "Thank you. Not to be rude, but why are you here? How did you know where I live?" I asked. "School directory, and I just wanted to stop by, I wanted to see your beautiful face." Cody said. My once pale face was now crimson. "Thank you, that's sweet of you." I said. I pulled him into a hug and he dug his face in my neck. "Mm, what are you doing?" I said. He began kissing my neck. I held my breath, I didn't like where this is going. He licked my neck, right where my precious vein was. I pushed him away, stunned, and slammed the door. Kylie gave me a puzzled look when I return to the living room. WHAT JUST HAPPENED?
