I gulped. "Get in." he said, slowly wading in the pool. I climbed down the ladder and got in, the water was ice cold. "Oh boy." I said reacting to the frigid water. "Don't worry, I'll make it warm for you." Cody said taking me and pulling me close to him. "What are you doing?" I said nervously. "Autumn, I love you, and I know you like me, so..why don't we just date?" he said. I looked up at him. "How did you know I like you?" I asked. "Special skills, I can read minds." he said. "Ha, funny." I said, thinking he was joking. "I'm serious." he said. "Then what am I thinking of?" I said. "Hmm, you're hungry, and you're thinking about kissing me." he said. "Wow." I said, surprised. "So why don't you just kiss me?" he said pulling me even closer. "I'm scared." I said looking down. "Don't worry, what is there to be afraid of?" he asked. The fact that you're a vampire! "What the hell, why not." I said shrugging my shoulders and placed my lips on his. This is what I have been waiting for! That small kiss turned out to an intense make out session and I suddenly longed for something more with him, but I couldn't. I felt like I really liked Cody, but all these emotions just, ugh. I pulled away. "What's the matter?" he asked. "Mm, I think we should head back up. I'm feeling tired." I said getting out and grabbing a towel to dry off. Once I was completely dry, Cody and I headed back to the room. I checked the clock, 3:45 am. I was really tired, but I couldn't sleep. "Autumn Huntington, I love you. You're my happiness, goodnight." Cody said. I couldn't help but blush, thank goodness he couldn't see. I waited until he fell asleep and then I closed my eyes.
