It's almost seven and thank God my uncle isnt home if he knew I was going out of the house with a boy that would be the end of me. I quickly take a shower and afterwards I find clothes to wear. Its so difficult there's so many options ! I look at the time realizing that it's 6:30 I quickly settle with a black Polo some skinny jeans and my black chucks. I look in the mirror to make sure I dont look a hot mess because I really don't want to mess things up with Deshaun he's the only boy that's really taken a interest in me. While starring in the mirror I catch a glance at all my healing bruises and scars. I was interrupted by the sound of the door bell I I quickly grabbed my black jacket and made it down the stairs. I open the door to be met with those familiar dough brown eyes and those gorgeous pearly whit teeth. He looked amazing.
"Hi" I said barely above a whisper I was a complete nervous reck.
"Look Cam there's no need to be nervous let's just go out and have a great time together. "
And with that we were already on our way to his car he quickly opened the door for me I told him he didn't have to but he insisted. He soon got into the driver's seat and we were off. But where to I had no idea.
"Umm where are going?" I asked.
"It's suprise." He said with a smile on his face.
He's always smirking at me but I find it cute just thinking about it makes me blush. I quickly turn my head so my embarrassment isn't noticeable.
"You know your lightskin so when you blush your whole face turns red." He said making me chuckle.

I was pulled out of my thoughts as the car came to stop realized that we in a parking lot. I quickly unbuckled my seat belt before I could open my door of course, Deshaun did that for me I politely thanked him as we mad our way to the entrance of the building. The building looked a little run down but I didn't want to be rude and say anything. He grabbed my hand as we walked in and to my surprise it was the exact opposite of what I thought it was going to look like. There was velvet and black colored drapes everywhere and the most beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling it was so elegant.
"Reservation under Smith." I heard Deshaun say and then we followed the waitress to our table.
Our table was in a secluded area in the back of the restaurant with a candle sitting in the middle of it.
"Your waitress will be here shortly" Deshaun nodded in response he pulled my seat out I sat down and politely thanked him. We just sat in silence I could tell he was by the way he kept chewing on hisb bottom lip.
"Soo why are you so quiet around me?" He asked.
"I usually don't have much to say." He nodded in response.
"Um Deshaun can I ask you a question?" He nodded letting me know I could.
"Why me?" "I mean there's a bunch of other people that you could b with rright now but why me?"
"Because Cam your different and the fact that you don't speak often but your always thinking I just want to get to know you." I couldn't say anything I just sat there in astonishment nobodies actually wanted to get to know me. I was taken out of my trance by a high pitch voice.
"Hi I'm Melanie and I'll be your server today."
We both ordered our food and drinks she wrote down our orders took our menus then left. We talked for a little while then after that she brought our food. While eating I kept catching Deshaun looking at me it kind of made uncomfortable I looked up from my plate to see him staring at me again.
" My bad Cam your your just so gotdamn cut das all." He said biting his lip which made me blash. He just laughed at me.

After dinner we were on our way back to my house it didn't even cross my mind that my uncle would be home. The car slowly stopped in my driveway we sat in comfortable silence a while until he decided to speak.
"I had a great time tonight."
"Me too and thank you. "I said.
"No need to thank me you deserve it. "He said making blush for the billionth time tonight. I looked at my lap so he wouldn't see it but soon felt his thumb and index finger on my chin lifting my head up. He just stared into my eyes as I stared right back and before I knew it our lips touched.
