Chapter 13

"Stoooop we're going to be late." I whined trying to get Deshaun off of me. We're supposed to be getting dressed for a double date with Kira and her mystery man we hadn't been on a date in a while anyway so it should be fun. I sneakily pushed Deshaun off of me while he wasn't paying attention and went into the bathroom to get myself ready. After I was done with my normal routine put on my Tommy Hilfiger boxer breifs and went straight to our closet I was looking for one of my favorite shirts that I thought was on the top shelf when I heard the sound of a camera .

"Do you mind if I ask you what you're doing?" I asked looking at the "professional photographer"

"Im sorry but I just couldn't help myself I mean look at you." He said biting his lip looking me up and down. Of course being the little school girl I am I blushed I was about to cover my face but before I could I was turned around to be met with two plump lips on mine. It took me a while to realize what was happening after all this time im still not used to his lips. I started to kiss back slowly savoring his taste I put my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me he put his hands around my waist, then I felt him lower then on to my ass he roughly cupped both cheeks making me jump back in surprise.

"Babe if you keep this up we're going to be late."

"Ok and the problem with that is? Your ass is worth bein late." He said with a sexual grin on his face.

"Boy stop." I said laughing at him. I went back to the closet and found the shirt I was looking for.

We finally made it to the restaurant I was surprised we actually made it on time despite Deshaun's constant playing around. We made our way into Olive Garden the hostess lead us to our table were Kira and her very good looking boo were sitting. Kira spotted us quickly pulling her mystery man out of the booth by his arm.

"Cam this is Mike Mike this is my best friend Cam and his boyfriend Deshaun " she said pointing at both of us.
We shook hands and then sat down. We ordered our drinks and food. Deshaun and Mike were actually hitting it off he seemed like a really cool guy and he was cute too Kira did a decent job. Before I knew it we were done with our food and we just sat there chatting and making jokes. After all those drinks I had to pee I politely excused myself from the table. I walked into the bathroom going straight to the urinal I finished my business and washed my hands.

I slowly made my way back to the table to met with chaos and yelling. I was wondering what was going on until I saw him.When I looked at him all I saw was the beatings hit after hit every word and name he called all the flashbacks just came so quickly hitting me like a brick wall.

"Cameron come with me." He said grabbing me by my wrist.

"Get away from him."Kira spat him shooting him daggers.

"He belongs with me not this hoodrat." He said referring to Deshaun.

"Hold the fuck up who are you to be callin me a hoodrat nigga?"Deshaun said standing up getting in his face.

"I'm his uncle and I have custody of him till further notice and he doesn't need to be livin with a dopeb." Before he could finish his sentence he was laying on the floor with Deshaun towering over him. He grabbed my wrist dragging me into the car. He sat there just staring outside the window he suddenly punched the steering wheel making flinch in fear.

"Why didn't you tell me? " he said I could here the anger and frustration in his voice. I couldn't answer him I just didn't know what to say.

"Cam why didn't you just tell me?" He asked this time hid voice sounding less harsh.

"I was embarrassed I was just to scared to tell you." I said barely above a whisper.

"Cam look at me please." he begged. I was still scared to look him in the eyes I was afraid he would be disappointed in me I was pathetic for ten years I let someone abuse me and hurt me and I didn't say a word I felt so dirty.

"Cam just look at me." I slowly turned my head towards him to my surprise I didn't see disappointment in his eyes I saw sympathy and comfort.

"Look Cam I care about you so much it hurts me to even think about somebody hurting you and I swear I won't let anyone ever hurt you again in any kind of way I love you too much tto let something happen to you." I was taken back by those words I hadn't heard them since my father's overdose. I just didn't know what to say to him.

"I love you too." I didn't just say itbecause he said it to me I actually love this man to death he's the only person that makes me happy everyday of the week. Deshaun basically came into my life and made it ten times bettern I have his heart and I can honestly say he has mine. Im sure what came over me but the next thing I knew our lips were meeting I loved the way his lips felt against mine and he held on to the back of my neck pushing us closer to each other. I pulled apart to catch my breath we just sat there looking at each other breathing heavily. He's so perfect everything about him his personality ,his looks ,his laugh I never thought I'd feel this type of way for anyone but I'm glad I do.
