I took a sip from my cup, eyes locked on the scene before me.

The place was packed to the rafters, everyone singing along, arms up, lights flashing. No lie, my dawg really had this whole spot wrapped around his finger. And to think, we both came up from the same city—different paths, same hustle.

The music cut off, and suddenly the whole vibe shifted. He was just standing there, mic in hand, pouring his heart out to the crowd.

He was talking about gratitude, about how much this moment meant to him. You could feel every word in the room, like he was speaking to each person individually.

"I would also like to thank my brother. Drake, get your ass out here, man!"

I froze, laughing under my breath. This man didn't give me any heads up that he was about to pull this. I sighed, shaking my head as I made my way out onto the stage, and the crowd lost it. The sound was unreal, everyone screaming, phones up, lights flashing.

We dapped each other up, that classic grip and pull, and he leaned into the mic, hyping me up even more.

"Give it up for my brother, man! Real shit!" Jahron shouted, his voice booming over the cheers.

I looked at him, shook my head with a grin, and just took in the moment.

The crowd was going wild, voices merging into one massive roar. I could barely hear myself think, and I had to smile, feeling the energy.

I stepped up to the mic, letting the crowd settle a bit, feeling their anticipation as they waited for me to say something. I leaned in, grinning.

"Yo, y'all showing my brother some real love tonight," I said, and the crowd erupted again, "Let me tell you, Jahron's been putting in work for years. You're looking at one of the realest in the game."

He nodded, his hand over his heart, looking at me with that gratitude in his eyes.

The music dropped back in, and without missing a beat, he jumped back into his set, the crowd following him like they'd never stopped.

I stayed out there, feeling the beat, vibing with the energy, and just letting myself get lost in the music and the moment enjoying myself.

We stood there, two kids from Toronto, on a stage that felt like it was built just for us.

The concert had wrapped about an hour ago, but the energy was still buzzing around us. We were posted up at the back of the arena outside, just kicking it, trading stories, and laughing about the night.

I was about to leave soon.

Everyone was still on a high, reliving the best moments and talking about the crowd's reaction.
