Ever want to hook up with your boss? I get it.
I slowly panned the camera towards Louis again as he hurried off stage in Kansas City. About two weeks had already passed and I couldn't get enough of my job. He had that perfect little purple shirt on, which showed off his tattoos immensely-
I was getting carried away. The little teenage Directioner in me was still rooting for one of the band members I fell for. He flashed a grin at me before I took another picture of the fans and went backstage, following him.
"Your crowds never fail to disappoint me," I admitted, as soon as we'd all got backstage. "Seriously!" I exclaimed, when he let out a laugh.
"How am I supposed to react to that, love?" He asked, again, drowning his cup of vodka which his assistant just handed him. "How's the camera?"
"Perfect. Never better, memory card's the best it's ever been." I joked. He nodded. "As per usual, I'll give you a preview of the photos-"
"Liv, I trust you, alright? Just send it to admin, she'll take care of the posts." Louis squeezed my shoulder gently. "Have a rest, yeah? You've been working nonstop, I'm worried about you."
"I'm fine, are you sure you don't want it?" I pointed towards the camera.
"Yes, I trust you," He rolled his eyes playfully. "Now get back to the hotel to get some rest, we'll be travellin' in the tour bus in the mornin'. Two days of rest, then back on the plane we go."
Louis gently patted my back before celebrating another successful night with the band. I slowly went through all of the pictures in my camera before listening to his advice, going up to the hotel and actually showering and going to bed.
I was in the midst of editing the pictures, adding slightly more exposure to a photo when my phone rang. I picked it up, expecting Lando or maybe even Allie on some 'Holly news'.
"Hey." Oscar mumbled. I nearly dropped my phone, but held onto it and sighed. I set it on speaker, put it one side and decided to not hang up.
"What do you want?" I said, sitting on my bed with my laptop on my lap. "I'm busy."
"Busy doing what?" He asked. "Taking photos for a certain man?"
Jealousy. "No, I'm editing them. He just finished his concert." That was the truth. I was trying to become a better photographer and editor. I still hadn't really gotten to the hang of being an editor, but for now, the photographer part was perfected.
"So what? Are you-"
"Oscar, what do you want?" I grumbled exasperately.
"Fine. I just wanted to ask if maybe you'd want to be invited to the next Grand Prix." He sighed. "I know you really love the sport, and maybe you could just come as a close friend."
"I have-" Someone knocked on my door. "Give me a sec." Without hesitation, I removed the laptop from my lap and quickly opened the door to Louis, standing and grinning. "Hey."
"We had some extra champagne, wondered if you wanted some." Louis said, holding out a glass. "Or if you wanted to anyways." He eyed my outfit, which I already had my pyjamas on.
"Uhm, yeah, I'll take some." I smiled, taking the glass from him awkwardly. "Thanks, Louis."
"For what?" He frowned.
"Everything, I guess." I said.
"Love, seriously, it's alright. I hired you for a reason." Louis said. "Now, let's see how those photos are going."
