4D - The Great Climbing

Reimu stared ahead at the enormous spire before her

Butter Building was it? The dull-golden colored spire loomed over both the puffball and the shrine maiden like a titan standing over a mere human, it's sheer height stretched towards the cloudy skies with it's peaks being obscured by clouds that seemed to circle around it like a moon orbiting a planet.

Still, they had a job to do, and that is repairing the star rod to it's former glory.

The Warp Star had sent them in front of the entrance to the giant spire before them, and Kirby had immediately went ahead and cleared out a few baddies that were somehow camping the front entrance, a blue stairway that led to the entrance which was blocked by said baddies such as a Sword Knight and several Waddle Dees that made their slow descent down from the air through the usage of their parasols.

"Alright, let's scale this thing" She shrugged, it would've been easier if she could fly, and MAYBE she could've searched the whole place from bottom to top for any signs of people keeping a star rod to themselves. Kirby had explained earlier during their ride towards Butter Building(albeit badly) that the Warp Star had been sending them towards where a Star Rod piece would be. Which was fairly understandable.

Thank the gods for that, otherwise it would've been a pain to just search the entirety of Popstar just for mere shards.. Then again she could always rely on her intuition if it ever comes to that.

"Hai hai!" Kirby agreed, and the two walked up the blue staircase and into the entrance of the tower itself.

They were immediately met by resistance from rock-like beings, Rockies, that fell towards the ground from the top of the room in an attempt to crush the two, though they were quickly taken care of by Kirby's Spark ability and Reimu's gohei.
And then came another Mr Tick Tock, Reimu felt a shiver go up her spine just from seeing one, remembering the time that she got blasted by one with vibrations during the Food Theft Incident

"You Dreamlanders are not supposed to be here! Leave!"

The Tick Tock would attempt to ring out visible notes as they flew towards Reimu and Kirby, the two incident resolvers would run out of the way and avoid the incoming note projectiles, which poofed into nonexistence upon contact with the ground.

"We're here for the star rod piece!" She shouted, running towards the other side of the room and threw ofudas at the Mr. Tick Tock, the clock being would tank the explosions the ofudas were making before he grunted

"There is no such thing as a Star Rod here! Now shoo!" As he attempted to leap towards Reimu in order to start ringing and hurt her, Kirby would rush in and zap the clock, prompting him to wince and step back, right before he approached and began ringing at Kirby.

"IYAH!" Kirby shouted in pain, feeling vibrations all over as he tumbles to the floor after it ended, losing his Spark ability as a result.

"Kirby!" She shouted, grimacing as she would throw even more ofudas at the Tick Tock. The ofudas exploding and sending the clock enemy tumbling to the floor.
"G-gyuh!" He shouted, before the sapient clock slowly lost consciousness from the sheer pain he was experiencing

And Kirby stood back up again, rubbing at his sides "uuahh.." He muttered

"Kirby you okay?" Reimu ran in, stopping just to check in at the puffball, Kirby gave the shrine maiden a reassuring smile however and she would sigh in relief at it "Phew, well that's a relief"

Even Kirby had trouble every now and then, which was expected of his age..

Speaking of, how old is he anyway?

She'll have to find out later after the two of them finally solve this incident

"Whatever, let's continue forth, I believe that this place has a few food that you could heal from.." She mused, stepping into another doorway that was previously blocked by the Tick Tock as Kirby followed from behind.
