“Alright, so I already got a few questions in mind that need some addressing” She mocked counted the ‘fingers’ on her hands as she numbers each of her questions “One! How. Two? Why. Three! Uh..” The Keke then reached to the back of her ear to scratch it, trying to come up with a better question

“Okay, I think im stumped” She sighed as she turned to look back at Meta Knight who silently walked forward with the flying Keke, the lone swordsman still staring into the distance “but that doesn't mean that I ran out of questions okay? I'll come up with more along the way”

“Hm” Meta Knight muttered “I'll answer the first question then” He nodded, the clanking of the boots on the ground sounding through the howling winds
“Firstly, Dreamland has had a few crises that had led to the formation and rise of the Meta Knights, whom I lead. Remember the crisis that you Dreamlanders call.. Food Theft Crisis?”

“Gee who would've thought” but then she brought a hand to her chin, thinking about it, it made perfect sense that a group of them would form after King Dedede decided to steal all the food in Dreamland “Huh.. So you formed the group because of Dedede?”

“Yes, but that's not the only factor that led to our formation however”

“Oh?”

“This should lead to the next question you have in your mind, why did I decide to try and conquer Dreamland?” He says

“Wait hold on you planned to conquer Dreamland!?” She immediately snapped towards Meta Knight, who remained as stoic as possible “No wonder Kirby went after you!”
But she didn't have any clue as to how Kirby learned of that plan in the first place, maybe he overheard some conversation that he wasn't supposed to hear perhaps? Or did he deliberately interrogate.. No wait that's not how his personality works.

“Indeed, he was quick to act the moment he learned of our plan” He nodded “Now then, have you ever walked around Dreamland and seen the residents around?”

“i mean yeah?” she shrugged, the two walking past a Bounder who stared at the two beings before them, both Marisa and Meta would ignore the climbing humanoid however “Dreamlanders so far have been very.. uneventful? about their lives..?” It's hard to describe the current state of Dreamland in particular.
“I mean they get real grumpy during incidents like these but otherwise? They're kind of plain not gonna lie”

“And that's precisely one of our other reasons why we decided to do what we did” He turned towards the Secret Sea and to an extent, the Orange Ocean before them, the seashore itself being brightly lit with a beautiful orange palette all thanks to the sun reflecting it's rays upon the ocean surface.
“Dreamlanders have grown far too lazy for their own good, neglecting the possible dangers that lurk within the dark.”

He inhaled “Once we took over Dreamland, we would've militarized the populace and prepare for threats far dangerous than King Dedede and Dynablade..”

“...” the Keke stayed silent, looking at the knight right in the mask, her eyes slowly squinting down till they were narrow “You seem awfully paranoid..”

“I am, after all Planet Popstar is one of the most brightest planets in the galaxy” He turned towards the sky “Such brightness can be a lure that would fish in untold dangers..”
He exhaled “But now you and Kirby have shown the necessary strength to beat back the Halberd and it's crew, for that my worries have eased knowing Popstar now has defenders like you.”

“I.. see” Honestly she didn't even knew that Popstar was said to be a bright planet, wouldn't the sun take that spot as the one being bright? “Well I guess im out of questions then”
