Chapter 59 Orko The Protective Father

Six months ago Orko and Dree Elle adopted Hannah a sweet little four year old girl. She loves to run, jump climb and play. She loves to spend time with her parents.

Today she was going to have a day with Orko. She loved to spend time with her daddy.

"Okay I am going to be out with my friends for a while," Dree Elle said.

"I know you are Dree, but don't worry Hannah and I will have a good time," Orko said. "I have a few things planned," he said.

"Okay," Dree Elle said. "Have good time with daddy Hannah," she said.

"I will see you later mommy," Hannah said hugging her.

Then Dree Elle kissed Hannah's forehead and kissed Orko and left.

"We are going to have a good time Hannah," Orko said. "Now come on," he said.

"Okay," Hannah said.

Adam saw Orko and Hannah. "Hi Orko and Hannah," Adam said.

"Hi Adam," Orko said.

"Hi," Hannah said.

"Hannah seems to be settling in her new home and family nicely and she seems comfortable," Adam said. "She seems to be at ease with all of us," he said.

"I know," Orko said. "I am so happy to have my daughter," he said.

"Man at arms can you believe how quickly Hannah has settled in since she was adopted from earth?" Adam asked.

"Well she is a young child and sometimes young children do adapt quicker to adopted families and homes," Man at arms said. "it also depends on the child," he said. "So what are you doing today Orko?" he asked.

"I am taking Hannah out for a while just me and my daughter," Orko said. "Going to visit castle grayskull to see the sorceress she wants to get to know Hannah a little better since she one had a brief interaction with her when she first arrived," he said. "So I am heading out I will try to be back around lunch," he said leaving.

"Okay," Adam said.

Orko and Hannah were in the forest. Hannah was holding Orko's hand tight. Hannah saw all the nature around. It was an amazing thing to see and it was very exciting. Hannah saw all kinds of animals. "Look at all the different animals," Hannah said.

"Yes the forests here on Eternia are full of life," Orko said. "There some that are full of nice things mainly like the evergreen forest, but others like the vine jungle and dark lands are dangerous," he said. "So you must never go to those places do you understand?" he asked.

"Yes daddy," Hannah said.

"Good," Orko said. 

They made it to castle grayskull and went inside. 

"Hello Sorceress it is good to see you," Orko said.

"Hello Orko good to see you again too," the sorceress said smiling.

"I believe wanted a more proper introduction to my daughter Hannah," Orko said. Hannah was partially hiding behind Orko.

"Hello Hannah," the sorceress said. "How are you?" she asked.

"I'm okay," Hannah said.  

"It is very nice to get a proper introduction," the sorceress said. "I can sense your fear is slowly going away and placed by curiosity and wonder," she said.

Orko and the sorceress talked for a bit while Hannah played. "Well we got to go," Orko said.

"So I will see you later," he said.

"Of course," the sorceress said.

Orko headed back to the palace. He heard something. "Who's there?" Orko asked.

Then Clawful appeared. "Well, well, look what we have here a Trollan," Clawful said. "I know which Trollan you are, you are Orko," he said. "What do you have there?" he asked. "Is someone or something of interest?" he asked gesturing to Hannah. "let me have it," he said.

Hannah was feeling scared and hiding behind Orko. 

"No," Orko said. "I will not," he said feeling protective.

"Give it too me now," Clawful said.

"No," Orko said.

"Give it too me now or I shall take it from you by force," Clawful said.

That did it now Orko was raging mad. His eyes glowed and he had an angry look in his eyes. Clawful noticed this he never seen Orko this mad before he wasn't to sure what set him off. "Don't come near my daughter you vile being!" Orko said in an angry voice. His hand he fired a very powerful magic spell.

It hit Clawful and knocked him back hard. Now Clawful was on the ground and saw a raging mad Trollan in front of him. Then he now got a good look of what was in Orko's arms it was a baby. The baby was clinging to Orko and had tears in it's eyes. Clawful now realized he threaten a powerful Trollan magicians child. He now knew he was in big trouble.

Man at arms was out doing research and he heard the sound. He came up and saw Clawful looking getting up and looking terrified, then he saw an angry Orko. "If you ever come near or threaten my daughter again!" Orko said with magic energy swirling around a hand he had aimed at the villain.

Hannah had gone behind a tree to hide.  

"I'm getting out of here!" Clawful said taking off. He was terrified and didn't want to get hit by another powerful blast of magic.

Orko's rage was starting to simmer down. Then Hannah came out of hiding and came up to Orko and jumped in his arms. She was crying. Orko was trying to calm her down despite being worked up at the moment. 

 Man at arms approached carefully because he could tell Orko's adrenaline was still running. So he was probably going to attack anyone who got too close at the moment.

"Whose there?" Orko asked hearing a twig snap that Man at arms stepped on. Orko was preparing to do another magic spell.

"Easy little friend it's only me," Man at arms said holding up his hands.

"Oh Man at arms," Orko said when he saw who it was. He knew Man at arms was not a threat and he was happy to see a friend. He stopped the spell. "I'm sorry Clawful appeared and thought that Hannah was something he and Skeletor could use and when he said he would try to take him from me by force I attacked him and I heard you and I thought you might be another threat," he said.

"I understand completely," Man at arms said. "The most important thing is Hannah is safe," he said.

"It sure is," Orko said. Hannah was still crying. "There, there Hannah it's okay," he said. "Clawful is gone now," he said. "It's okay daddy's here," he cooed. He was rubbing her back. Then Hannah settled down. Then she snuggled into her father and was calm.

"Daddy it was so scary," Hannah said.

"I know, it's okay," Orko said. "They won't hurt you as long as I am here, I will protect you," he said. 

"I think it would be a good idea to go home now," Man at arms said.

"That's a good idea," Orko said.

They headed back to the palace and Orko told Dree Elle about what happened. She was worried but happy Orko protected their daughter.

Meanwhile the Unnamed one was being freed from his prison by his followers. "We have found a way grand master to free you." Krade said. "The portal will open and you shall be free," he said.

The portal opened in HQ and the unnamed one came through. "Trolla and universe I have returned," Unnamed one said. "Be prepared Orko because now things are going to be a lot harder for you now!' he said his eyes glowing green.
