Part 26

Neteyam attacks Aonung strongly with his dagger, sparring with the marine boy to improve his blade skills. He smirks a bit as he keeps the marine boy on his toes.

Their siblings and friends are watching on the side, some cheering on Neteyam and some cheering on Aonung.

Tuktirey- Go Neteyam!

Wari- Nungie!

Wari reaches out for his brother from Tsireya's arms, trying to help him, which makes her laugh.

Tsana's base has been moved, so Jake and many others are busy looking for it. He didn't trust his sons not to do something else stupid, so they're left home as defense for the village in case it comes under attack while he's gone.

There are other warriors that guard the hunters now, and Spider is gone with them almost all the time, since their recent hunts haven't been as successful. Yuuki is also with them, but the others couldn't care less.

Wift and Hoskno are both with Jake and his scouts.

With the Sully siblings are Korva, and Somtra. Yune has been kept in Mo'at's den due to his internal injuries that needed to heal.

As Neteyam and Aonung continue to spar, Lo'ak notices a certain girl show up. Arafima, who has taken an interest in Aonung, which Lo'ak finds highly annoying.

The older couple finally seem like they're in a better place, having gotten past the cheating incident with Neteyam. The last thing anyone wants is for someone else to interfere again.

Lo'ak taps Kiri's arm, and she looks to where his gaze is pointed. Arafima greets Tsireya and the younger two, and Kiri raises a brow at her.

Kiri- Why is she back again?

She whispers only loud enough for Lo'ak and Rotxo to hear. The smaller boy looks at Arafima.

Rotxo- Our older brothers must be too damn irresistible. There's always pursuers.

Kiri- Must be nice.

Lo'ak- Since when are you so focused on dating? You always hated that kind of attention.

Kiri- I think I'd make a good mother. Don't you want to be an uncle?

Lo'ak- It's never been something I longed for, no.

Kiri- Well I figured it would be the next best thing for you and Tey.

Lo'ak- I don't think Neteyam could care less. You tried to steal his boyfriend.

Kiri- And if he ever really screws up, I'll try that again.

Rotxo- Wow.

Kiri- What? I never said I'd break them up. I'll just wait for an opportunity.

Lo'ak- Didn't you decide to live here after all this is over?

Kiri- I can change my mind.

Rotxo- Just stick with Hoskno, he obviously likes you.

Kiri rolls her eyes with a groan.

Rotxo- I don't see what the problem is. He's cute.

Lo'ak- Hey.

Rotxo leans onto Lo'ak's side with a soft laugh.
