A chant begins at the center of the large crowd of people, where some sit with instruments. A small group of the best older singers in the village, led by Ninat, begin the chant alone, then many villagers join in.

As the Sully teens walk through the crowd with their marine friends, they smile, listening to the familiar sound of harmony they missed more than they let on.

The village has been in high spirits, having frequent celebrations that sometimes start out of nowhere, and everyone seems to just join in.

Once the instruments join in the harmony, some people begin to dance. The dance is taught along with the song at a young age as one of the first songs a child learns.

At this point in their lives, it's second nature to start dancing to it.

Lo'ak turns to face Rotxo as he joins in the dancing, wanting him to follow the simple moves, and of course, the smaller boy does with a smile on his face.

Kiri joins them, as does Spider, who didn't learn the dance until he was older, but still knows it well. He starts teaching Tsireya the moves, and as she learns, she catches the attention of a few others their age.

A couple of girls and three boys, and the boys of the group have lingering eyes on the Metkayinan girl, though it seems they're supposed to be paying attention to the Omatikayan girls with them.

Neteyam smiles at the sight of them having fun, then turns to his marine boy, who is entertained, but also uncomfortable because of the many eyes on him.

Neteyam- Feel like a fish out of water?

Aonung- Now I really know how you guys felt.

Neteyam- It's rough being big and pretty isn't it?

Aonung- You think this is funny don't you.

Neteyam- Indeed I do.

Yuuki- Neteyam?

Interrupting the grin he was giving Aonung, thinking the boy's behavior cute, a girl, Neteyam's age, with waist length braids hesitantly walks up to him.

Kiri notices the girl, recognizing who she is, and instantly stops dancing.

Kiri- Damn it.

She leaves the others and goes to her brother's side. Neteyam freezes for a moment, but quickly regains his composure.

Neteyam- Hey, Yuuki.

The girl beams at him remembering who she is, then notices his sister.

Yuuki- Kiri! I can't believe you guys are back.

Neteyam- Me neither. How've you been?

Yuuki- Lonely, after you left, but I managed.

Aonung watches Neteyam tense up, but still try to act naturally. It makes him tilt his head a bit.

Neteyam- That's good.

Yuuki- Can I meet your friends?

Neteyam- Of course. This is-

Yuuki- Wait, you can introduce all of us! Come on, Wift and Korva are this way.

Neteyam- Wift?

Yuuki- Yeah, he's a prized warrior now, you know.

Neteyam turns to Kiri, and she just shrugs, knowing he wants to see who was once his best friend and rival.

Neteyam- Lo'ak, Spider, over here!

His voice interrupts their fun, and when Lo'ak sees who he's with, his ears pin back. Reluctantly, he leads Rotxo over to them, and Spider follows with Tsireya.

Yuuki eyes the marine girl's hand in Spider's.

Yuuki- Is she your girlfriend?

Spider- Yeah, I told those guys she was real.

Yuuki- She's so pretty. They'll be jealous for sure.

Tsireya smiles bashfully, and Spider chuckles, knowing the girl is right.

Yuuki- Now follow me.

Yuuki then grabs Neteyam's hand, practically dragging him off, and Kiri rolls her eyes as they follow.

Kiri- Here we go.
