As planned, at dawn, Neteyam is preparing his Ikran for the long flight. He'll have Ronal and Wari as his passengers, since they'll be the only ones going home.Aonung is still unconscious, and they were advised to leave him there where the scientists could keep an eye on his condition. Because of that, Rotxo and Tsireya both want to stay and wait for him. Lo'ak, naturally, is staying with his mate, and Kiri has chosen to remain in the forest along with Tuktirey staying with their parents.
After receiving a tight hug from his mother and siblings, Neteyam climbs onto his Ikran, and Ronal follows, with Wari holding onto her.
Neytiri- Be careful.
Neteyam- I will.
Neytiri- Good luck.
Neteyam- Thank you, Mother.
His eyes meet Jake's, and the man doesn't say a word to him. With a soft sigh, he directs his attention to his Ikran and takes off.
The youngest Sully quickly runs over to a tree and starts climbing as fast as she can to reach the higher branches. Once she's at a decent height, she spots Neteyam's Ikran heading away from them.
She sighs, already missing her oldest brother. Just as she gets comfortable, wanting to watch them until she can't anymore, something suddenly shoots out from the trees, hitting the winged creature.
A gasp escapes her as the Ikran calls out and begins to plummet to the ground, a ways away from her location.
Tuktirey- No!
With haste, she makes her way back down the tree, then starts calling out for her father as she runs through the village.
Jake- Tuk, what is it? What's wrong?
He rushes from a small crowd, with Neytiri behind him, then kneels in front of her frantic self.
Tuktirey- They fell out of the sky!
Neytiri- What?
Tuktirey- Something shot Neteyam's Ikran down! It came from the trees! We have to go find them!
Jake- Slow down, okay. Can you show me where they went down?
She nods eagerly, and he stands to share a look with his mate. Both of them know this has to be the doing of Tsana's rebels.
