Eclipse covers the skies in patterns hardly seen through the tall trees of the forests. As planned before, the eldest Sully boy, and his marine lover are hidden in the secluded space of the nearby pond.
Lo'ak and Rotxo are having dinner with Korva, Hoskno, and Kiri. Spider and Tsireya are at the guest home with Tsireya's mother and brother, along with the Sully parents and Tuktirey.
While Neteyam sits with his legs dipped into the water, he watches Aonung swim around enjoying himself.
Soon he resurfaces and comes over to Neteyam, hugging him around his waist, with his head pressed against his stomach comfortably.
Neteyam messes with his large bun, slowly undoing it so he can play with the curly strands.
Aonung- I won't feel like putting it back up.
Neteyam- You will when all this hair starts to get on your nerves.
His stomach suddenly growls, and the sound is loud against Aonung's ear.
The marine boy chuckles and pulls away to look at Neteyam's softly toned stomach.
Aonung- You have a rumbly tummy.
He pats his stomach softly, then pokes his belly button, earning a slap on the hand.
Neteyam- Stop that.
Aonung- But it's so cute.
He pokes his belly button again, and Neteyam pulls his hand away.
Neteyam- No it isn't.
Aonung- Are you hungry, little button?
Neteyam stares at Aonung speaking to his stomach, finding it annoying.
Neteyam- Cut that shit out. Now I know how pregnant women feel.
Aonung laughs softly at him, then his stomach growls again.
Aonung- The button is hungry, Neteyam. Won't you feed it?
Neteyam- Shut your button talk up. I'll get us some food.
He stands from his spot, then heads to the path back to the village to get them both something to eat. As he heads down the path, a familiar face is going the opposite direction.
His eyes meet Arafima's for a brief moment before she looks away.
The two were once very close, but not anymore.
He stops in his tracks, and turns around.
Neteyam- Arafima-
Arafima- Save it.
She stops only to cut him off, then proceeds on her path to the pond.
Once there, she spots Aonung swimming near the surface with his hair flowing freely. He figured there was no point in putting it back up before his date with Neteyam came to an end, because the Sully boy would most likely take it out again.
Arafima kneels down at the edge of the pond, checking her reflection and straightening up her flower. After that, she dips her legs in, hoping it announces her presence.
