At the edge of the village, Neteyam is sitting in a tree, hiding from Aonung as a part of a game to appease their boredom.

Yune- Neteyam!

He looks below, seeing Yune calling to him. With a sigh, he begins to climb down, momentarily setting his game aside.

It's been years since he really spoke to him, and he only checked on his healing progress from the entrance of Mo'at's den, not letting himself be seen.

Once he's on the ground, face to face with the boy, Yune scans him.

Yune- It's nice to see you don't resent me.

Neteyam- Is there really any point in speaking words to you?

Surprisingly, his voice is laced with humor, and he smiles softly.

Yune- Even I know orbs don't tell everything.

Neteyam- How have you been? Did your wounds heal okay?

Yune- You already know the answer. I could sense your presence when you'd visit.

He chuckles softly at himself for thinking he could hide from someone who could spot him with his eyes closed.

Neteyam- Nothing gets past you, huh.

Yune- Generally, no.

Neteyam- So,

He fidgets a bit.

Neteyam- Have you talked to the others?

Yune- Perhaps you will be less nervous if you let me speak for a moment.

Neteyam- Oh, okay then.

Yune- This is long overdue, but, I am sorry for what I did to Aonung.

Neteyam's ears perk up a bit, and he blinks twice in surprise.

Yune- I would never intentionally do anything to make you unhappy with me, you're the only one who considered me a friend.

Neteyam- Yune-

Yune- I won't make any excuses, and I will not regret trying to save my brother, but I would like your forgiveness for how my actions affected you.

He stares at Yune's serious expression with wide eyes, never expecting to hear an apology from him.

Neteyam- Of course I forgive you.

Yune's smile greets him, making him do the same.

Yune- Thank you.

Aonung- Why didn't you apologize to me?

Yune's smile fades as he turns around to Aonung approaching them.

Yune- You would never forgive m- . . .

He freezes once he lays eyes on Aonung, facing him with fear evident on his face.

Yune- What in Eywa's name have you done to your soul orb?

Aonung- What are you talking about? I haven't done anything.

Yune boldly walks over to him, his eyes locked on the boy's chest, staring within at the soul orb that looks tainted and is losing its glow.
