Once they've successfully reached the village, Wift heads for Mo'at's den, while Neteyam goes through more of the chaos in search of his father. It isn't hard to find him either, because Jake looks to be in the middle of a standoff with what looks like another chief.
Without hesitation, he runs up to his father, demanding answers.
Neteyam- Dad, what's going on?
Tsana- Ah, there he is.
The stranger of a man draws Neteyam's attention.
Tsana- Your prized first born. I have one of my own, actually. I wonder which is stronger. The half breed, or the true blood?
Jake- I've always known you don't like what runs in my veins, but to attack my village-
Tsana- These demon lovers keep you as their leader, ignoring the fact that the Sky people keep returning because of you.
Jake- They don't just want me, they want the resources of this world.
Tsana- You fled across the sea, and the worst of them followed. You were their priority. Who's to say they won't come back for you again?
Jake- If they do they'll be defeated again.
Tsana- They were never truly defeated if they keep returning.
Jake- We've had this discussion a million times over. When are you gonna understand that I will not step down as Olo'eyktan?
Tsana- I am trying to be lenient with you, and give you a chance to walk away unharmed.
Jake- You and your rebels are no threat to me.
Tsana- Then why do your villagers cower? They are scared. And one day they will realize that you brought this upon them.
Jake- Leave, Tsana, or I'll stop being so lenient with you.
Tsana- I'm warning you, Toruk.
Jake- You forget I'm the one who rules this entire clan. Stay in your place.
The man sighs, and briefly glances at Neteyam, then looks back to Jake.
Tsana- It did not have to be this way, but, as you wish.
He calls out to his warriors, and who looks to be his second in command blows a horn, making them retreat. He turns to leave, but stops and looks back.
Tsana- I hope you like hell, Jake Sully.
Neteyam hisses at the man, which Tsana doesn't react to. He starts to go after him, but Jake grabs his arm.
Neteyam- What are you doing? He just threatened you, it's a coup. You shouldn't be letting him walk away.
Jake- He'll see things differently once he realizes his small band of people can do nothing against an entire clan.
Neteyam- But he-
Jake- Mercy, Neteyam. Don't tell me you forgot about it.
Neteyam- No, but he doesn't seem like the type who deserves it. He called your people demon lovers, and us half breeds.
Jake- Forget about it.
Neteyam- How long has this been going on?
Jake- I'll answer your questions later. Right now, I need to make sure everyone's alright.
Jake walks off dismissively. Lo'ak, running up with Rotxo, doesn't miss the annoyance on his face.
Lo'ak- What the hell is going on?
Neteyam- Some chief wants to overthrow Dad.
Lo'ak- With that small attack?
Neteyam- It was a warning, he came here himself and had a standoff. Dad should have killed him then and there.
Lo'ak- You know that isn't his style. Not when it comes to Na'vi at least, the Sky People are another story.
Neteyam- (sighs) He'll give us more information later, probably at the den.
Lo'ak- I'll be there.
