One Piece: Sisters adventure

Chapter 14

Saphira's Pov

The ship was suprisingly taking this rough handeling pretty well, the stream is shaking the ship so violently I was worried the ship would start falling apart. Luckily, the Going Mary is a tough girl. With my worries reassured, I could feel my eyelids getting heavier. I didn't exactly get a chance to rest properly, my wounds are making their protest clear too. I slowly made my way down the stairs and back in to the girls' quarters. My bed looked heavenly so I made a direct bee-line for it. Just as I sat down and fluffed up my pillow, a loud noise came from outside. I froze and turned my ear to the door to make sure I wasn't imagining it. When the sound didn't come again, I shrugged it off and turned to lay down.

Just when I was getting comfortable, as comfy as I can get with my wounds, I heared the noise again but this time it was louder. I sat up slowly and try to hear for it again, but nothing. 'What is that?!' It annoyed me, it was disturbing my sleep. When the sound didn't come again, I layed back down and closed my eyes. I sighed dreamly, about to go off on a fantasy in dream land. It wasn't even 5 seconds before I shot up from my laying position when the crew started screaming in panic. I flinched and groan as the jerking movement shot needles of pain to my wounds. 'Honestly?! I'm gonna kill somebody!' I slowly got up, still groaning in pain, and walked out the door to the deck of the ship.

"What's going...on..." I slowly lost my words as my eyes widen at the sight in front of us. I ignored the crew's panic screaming and bickering over the huge black thing that was blocking our path. "I-I-I-It's a whale!" Usopp screamed so the whole crew can hear him. I gasped in horror. How can something be so large?! I know whales can get big but this, this is a titan! As if to prove its size, it gave out one mighty roar. I could litterly feel it vibrating in my bones. "That's right!" Nami's voice jerked me out of my stupor, "It's possible that he may not have noticed us!" I looked back to the black titan in search for his eyes. I can't find them, but I can clearly see it's large sharp teeth, I gulp at the sight. "Port! Hard to port!" Zoro shouts.

I shake my head to clear myself of these haunting thoughs about our demise and concentrate on what is being shout around. "But, the rudder is broken!" Usopp shouted back from inside the kitchen. "Just do something!" Zoro orders as they all start running around to find something to help change the direction the ship is going. I look around while thinking of anything that could help our situation. I quickly run up the stairs to the kitchen where I find Usopp, Sanji and Zoro trying to pull the stump of the rudder. I quickly join them and start pushing on the rudder in the direction they are pulling. Pain shot to my wounds, but I ignore it and continue pushing. Pain is temporarily, but death is irreversible.

"It's not working! The ship's not turning!" Usopp groans out as he puts in his all to pull the rudder. "Dammit!" Sanji's hold is slipping but quickly grabs on to the rudder more securely, "Don't give up!" Zoro's veins look ready to pop out his head. I'm groaning in pain and frustration as the rudder won't budge one inch. All feels lost until we heared a deafening explosion and the ship shaking violently. "Cannon?!" The crew shouts in shock, it must have been Luffy who did it. As stupid of a plan that was, the ship started slowing down until we roughly bumped into the black titan. I could see from the open door that the poor Going Mary's figure head broke off. If the black titan haven't noticed us before, he definitely did now.

The silence was deafening, no one dared to make a sound. Zoro was the one who broke the quiet, almost giving me a heart attack. "Let's get out of here before it's too late!" He quickly got to his feet, "How did he not notice us?!" Sanji went to help Zoro with rowing the ship out of here. "Who knows?! Let's just get out of here!" They were rowing with all their might. I would have helped, but my injuries says otherwise. I'm leaning against the kitchen door while keeping an eye on the black titan. He was eerily still, his one visible eye looking dazed. Out of the blue, it opened it's mouth and gave a fierce roar.

I fell to my knees, clutching my ears in pain. I'm pretty sure I'm screaming, my throat felt raw. If it doesn't shut up my ears are gonna burst. When it finally stopped, I didn't dare uncover my ears. There was a painful ringing in my ears, a wet sensation sliding down my neck tells me that they are definitely bleeding. "Damn...it..." It hurts like hell, I would even say worst than my stitches. I look up to see we are slowly but surely rowing away from the black beast. I stand up on shaky legs, finally uncovering my ears, and grab a paddle to help row the ship faster. Sanji noticed my bleeding ears, "Saphira! What happened?!" He sweatdropped when I didn't even react. I didn't hear him, the ringing died down a little, but I won't be hearing anything for a while.

I noticed that everyone looked shocked, I followed their line of sight to witness the dumbest thing Luffy ever did. I couldn't hear what he was shouting in anger, but the fact he punched the whale in it's eye made me just as pissed as it. The whales iris moved to look directly at us. Luffy was making strange hand gestures, taunting the whale. Usopp and Zoro abandoned their paddles to kick Luffy in the side, I didn't hear what they shouted at him, but I know for a fact they called him a dumbass. I dropped my paddle to cover my ears as the beast gave out another loud roar. I was literally roaring with him, but for a different reason. My ears can't take this anymore!

I was in too much pain to notice, but the ship was getting sucked into the whales mouth. "Saphira!" Sanji was next to me, holding me up right as the beast continues it's angry roar. "I...can't take...this...anymor-" I couldn't even finish my sentence before black blotches came to my vision. Everything is spinning, I'm swaying with the motions. Sanji luckily saw I was about to pass out and caught me before my body hit the deck. "Saphira? Saphira!" When I didn't react he held on tight as the ship was sinking deeper into the whales mouth. Luffy went overboard, he reacted quickly before he could hit the water and latched on to the side of the whale. The whale closed its mouth, and everything went black.
