"What do you think...?" Someone asked unsurely, not knowing what to think of the strange sight in front of them. "What do I think...?" They were just as lost as the others on what's going on. "I was sure that we were swallowed by the whale..." Sanji sounded just as unsure, he readjusted his hold on Saphira. Zoro saw Saphira's unconcious state and sighed "What happened this time?" The rest of the crew noticed the position Saphira's in. Nami concernly checks her out, "Her ears are bleeding!" It clicked in everyone's head as they remember what Saphira told them back on Battleship Island. "Oh yeah, her hearing is more sensetive thanks to the virus." Usopp sweatdrops at her predicament.

Zoro was looking around when he noticed a house on a small island ahead of them. "Hey, look over there." The crew walked closer to the railing to get a better look. "Is this a dream...?" That made everyone question their own sanity. "What's an island and house doing here?" Nami asked, it's not something one expects to find in a whales stomach. "They must be illusions." Zoro sounded unsure of himself. Nothing of what they are looking at made sense.

Suddenly, out of the water before them came a large squid. "A great king squid?!" Nami and Usopp quickly make a run for cover as Zoro and Sanji got ready to fight. Sanji freezes when he realized he had Saphira still in his arms. Sanji was about to turn and leave the squid for Zoro to handle when large harpoons shot at the squid and pierced it in multiple places, killing it instantly. "It looks like at least someone is home." Zoro sweatdrops at the fact that they saw the harpoons come from the house. "I hope it's a person..." Sanji had doubts with this strange place. He looks down at Saphira before making a decision.

"Nami-san and Usopp, please take care of Saphira." Sanji walks up to Nami, who was sitting on the floor, and rested Saphira's head on Nami's lap. Nami didn't argue, seeing the state she's in. Usopp takes out a handkerchief and gives it to Nami to use. Nami gently wipes the blood away from her ears, she sighed when she saw that her shirt has blood seeping through, meaning she aggitated her wounds too much and is going to need more than a clean up. Sanji rejoins Zoro at the front of the ship.

"Should we fire the canons?!" Usopp grabbed ahold of Saphira's hand when he saw someone coming out of the house. "No, hold on a sec..." Sanji and Zoro are observing this person. If the guy so much as attack them, they will retaliat in return. Right now, they wanna see what this guy is gonna do. The man grabs the ropes the harpoons were attach to and starts pulling the squid in towards him. The tension was high, the man and the crew was silent, one waiting to see what the other would do.

The man stepped out from the shadow of his doorway and gave a clear view of what he looks like to the crew. "That old man killed a great king squid..." Nami strails off, as if she couldn't believe her own words. "The thing that I want to know is, was he just fishing...or did he do it to save us...?" Sanji looked ready to attack if need be. No one dared to take their eyes off each other, the old man's stare being intense and untrusting just like them. It was like a stare down as the man starts moving, the eye contact never breaking...

The old man sat down in a lounging chair and pulled out a newspaper, choosing to ignore them. This seems to piss off Sanji, "Say something, you jerk!" Usopp let's go of Saphira's hand to stand up and point at the old man, "I-If you wanna fight, we'll fight you bastard!" Nami didn't look impressed with Usopp as he moves backwards to the open door of the kitchen, obviously wanting to flee. The old man turns his attention back to them and the tention rises again, another stare off starts. The tension breaks as the old man speaks, "You'd better not or someone will die." He says with all seriousness.

This seems to frighten Usopp and Nami, Sanji doesn't look very impressed. "Oh? Just who're you saying will die?" Sweat starts to gather on his forehead, "Me." The old man answers, Sanji was not a fan of this old man "Why, you..." Zoro stops him before he tried anything. "He's mocking us!" Zoro just ignores him, "Hey, old man. Tell us where we are and who you are." Another stare down immensus as they wait for the old man's reply, seconds tick by as they wait and with it everyones nerves. "Isn't proper manners to give your name first?" The old man ask calmly, Zoro sweatdrops at this. He clears his throat, "Hm, yeah, good point. Sorry." Zoro introduces himself, "My name is Roronoa-" The old man cuts him off, "My name is Krocus." The old man continues to explain his age and career and not giving Zoro a chance to speak again, this pisses off Zoro.

"I'm gonna cut him-" Sanji quickly grabs Zoro's hand that was gonna grab his swords, "Calm down!" The old man goes on explaining that this is his private resort etc. Nami just realized that if they stayed here, they might get digested. The old man cuts her rambling off, "Haven't you guys heard of the 'repeating gag'?" This seems to surprise the crew, "This is a gag?!" The old man points to a large gate not far from where they are floating, "The exit is over there." The crew was even more surprised to hear that they can get out. "Hold on, why is there an exit in a whale's belly?" Nami can't seem to wrap her head around this logic, Usopp looked up and pointed to the 'sky'. "Look, this sky... and those seagulls...They're all painted! It's all a painting in a whale's stomach!"

"Call it a doctor's playful mind." The old man explains 'helpfully'. This doesn't seem to impress Usopp or the rest of the crew. Zoro takes charge, "There's the exit, so let get going." The crew agrees to leave quickly, but everything starts to shake violently and throw everyone off their feet. "What's going on?!" Everyone grabs ahold of something, Nami needing to use one arm to hold on to Saphira. The waters were getting higher with the shaking and rocking their ship around. The old man looks calm, but serious as he watches the waters, "It's started..."
