Saphira POV:
I was standing there, in the cold rain, not moving an inch. I didn't feel like trying to get anyone's attention, not right now. I was just watching them. 'Did that make me creepy?' I shrugged my shoulders at my own question. I was playing with my fingers, twirling my thumbs. It wasn't until I looked at my metal hands that I realized something. I left everything at Logue Town. The only things that I have on me is my duo swords and my shoulder bag. The years of incomes I saved up for this specific trip was left back at the apartment. Not just that, but I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to the mayor and his family. 'Maybe I should send them a letter?' The mayor's wife isn't going to be impressed with that.
I removed my shoulder bag and started rummaging around to see what I have. There's my untouched lunch, spare clothes and my extra pair of gloves. Oh, and my wallet. I opened it to see a few hundred bellies. That's not much, I could buy a few apples and that's that. I sighed at my predicament. Not only didn't I get a verbal approval to join this crew, I also don't have enough money to get me back to Logue Town if the crew decides they don't want me aboard their ship. That is if they are kind enough to drop me off on the next island. I shivered at the thought of swimming back.
''Hey.'' This caught everyone on deck's attention, ''Who is she?'' It was the long nosed guy that noticed me standing there. Everyone stopped what they were doing to gather around me. 'I feel like a caged animal.' I sweat dropped at their hostile looks. ''She's the girl that we saw with Sanji.'' Said the only girl of the crew; she kept her distance when she noticed my swords. ''Oh hey, you made it!'' It was their captain this time, he moves towards me and grabs my hands. I was shocked by the action. ''Remember? Sanji, Zoro; she's that robot that wanted to join our crew.'' He said excitedly, he was playing with my metal fingers, even going as far as to interlock our hands. ''Yeah, I remember.'' The scary guy commented while moving a hand on the hilt of one of his swords.
''Luffy, mind explaining?'' The girl asked her captain. ''She wanted to join our crew, so I let her join.'' He explained simply, his attention completely on my arms. I was getting uncomfortable with the touching, even though I can't feel it. ''You can't do that!'' Everyone at once shouted at their captain, clearly displeased. I sighed and gently removed the captain from me, I was going to have to explain myself if I was going to join them. ''My name is Saphira, the reason why I wanted to join you is (None ya business) personal, but I guess you won't let me join unless I tell you.'' They kept quiet, proving my statement right. I sighed again, before continuing. ''I need help finding someone, well two people actually. They're my sisters, they have been missing for two years now.'' I tried to read their faces as I finished, the long nose guy and blond seemed to have soften at my story. The chick and scary guy was a different story. They wanted more information.
''And? Is that all?'' The girl asked while crossing her arms, the blond and long nose didn't expect that cold respond. I didn't either, but I knew it wasn't going to be easy. ''What else do you want to hear?'' I asked calmly, spreading my arms for exaggeration. ''Why us? It doesn't make sense.'' It was the scary guy that asked, the girl followed up right after him. ''Yeah, why ask help from us pirates when you could have the marines helping you. If you ask me, none of what you're doing makes sense and seems really suspicious.'' She finished, making it very clear. The long nose and blond seemed to see where she's coming from and started giving me suspicious looks.
I leaned against the ships railing; this is going to take a while. Luckily, the rain stopped and the sun was shining through the clouds. ''Two years ago when my sisters and other people of my home town disappeared, the marines of Logue Town started the search immediately. Unfortunately, because there wasn't any leads to where they disappeared to, the marines had to stop the search after a few weeks.'' The orange head cut me off, ''Why stop the search? Even if there was no clear leads, they were supposed to keep looking until they found one.'' She commented, I nodded my head in agreement. ''The thing is, I'm not originally from Logue town, so were the missing people. We came from a small island called Melon Island. There was a pirate attack, a massacre, and the residents had to flee to the nearest island. That being Logue Town. There were two ships that left that island with the fleeing residents and my sisters were on those ships.'' I took a breath, ready to continue but the long nose just had to ask the question.
