Saphira's POV
I freeze on the couch as I peak over to see that the men that was going to drag Luffy and the others away left in a hurry. 'They must have noticed that Zoro's missing.' I'm sure the green idiot can handle himself. When I made sure that no one else was in the room, I stood up and approached the sleeping crew. Luffy, Usopp and Sanji were passed out on the floor, while Nami was face down on a round table.
I check everyone over to make sure the men didn't do anything to them. When I approached Nami to check on her next, she unexpectedly shot upward and gave me a heart attack. "You were awake this whole time?!" Nami shushed me with a finger to her mouth. She stood up and approached me. She searched my pockets for my notepad and pencil. I frown at her, she's lucky that I didn't smack her for invading my space.
Nami wrote down something on the notepad and gave it to me. It read, 'Whisky Peak is an island filled with bounty hunters.' My eyes widen at this information. This just pisssed me off more by the fact that Zoro probably knew and still didn't let anyone know. I quickly wrote down a question for Nami, 'What should we do?' I gave it to Nami to read. Honestly, I just want to grab everyone and make a run for it to the ship. That is, if the ship is not being watched.
Nami handed me back my notepad, 'It sounds like Zoro is keeping the bounty hunter's busy, so lets rob them while their distracted.' I raise a brow at Nami, questioning her morals. I was about to write back, wanting to know what we should do about the passed out crew, but Nami turned and left. I sigh as I give up and put the notepad away. I give a worry glance behind me at the crew as I follow Nami around. We went from building to building, being sneaky and all that crap, as we digged around for any valuables.
If the mayor and his wife saw me right now, they would kick my ass. We didn't find much of value, but Nami insisted that we continued looking around. Nami pointed to the doors while shaking her head. The disappointed frown on her face told me that this place was a bust. I sigh at our luck, but was happy that we can finally leave this place. I follow her outside and glance around at the chaos. This must be Zoro's work. There were people, passed out and badly wounded, scattered on the ground.
I was impressed that he was able to handle this many people on his own. Nami paused and pressed her back against a wall. She put a finger to her lips, a sign to be quiet. I pressed my back to the same wall as I check our backs and the roofs for any danger, as it looks like she was listening to something. Unfortunately, I still couldn't hear anything, so I was relying on Nami's ears. Nami turned to me with a strange smile. She pointed to the roof and made a gesture that she wants me to lift her.
I sigh as I cupped my hands and bend my knees. Nami grabbed my shoulders for support as she put a foot in my hands. With a huff, I pushed her upwards. She grabbed the edge of the roof and pulled herself up the rest of the way. She lays down on her stomach and reaches down with a hand. I stand on my tippy toes and reach up for her hand. Once I firmly grasp her hand, she pulls as hard as she can. I knew I was heavy, thanks to my metal arms, and put some effort in with my feet to help her pull me up.
Once on the roof, she made her way to the edge of the roof that looked down in the alleyway. She sat down as she watched what was going on down below. Curious, I joined her at the edge and saw Zoro standing over the big guy with the big hair. It looks like the big guy got seriously hurt and seems to be begging Zoro for something. Nami must have said something that grabbed their attention. They looked up right at us. When Nami jumped down, I followed right behind her.
As she and Zoro talked about whatever, I took a look at the big guy on the ground. There were several wounds and burns on his body. 'Burns?' I look towards Zoro, and immidiately knew he wouldn't play cheap tricks. He's a swordsman after all. Nami approached the big guy on the floor, discussing something. I was curious on what was going on, but I was too lazy to grab my notepad and write down anything. Nami stood up and looked directly at me and Zoro. Whatever she was saying, seemed to have pissed Zoro off.
