We returned back to Atarah, just to see that our kingdom was being attacked once again.

Jamie was fighting some soldiers, probably from Velora. Even though he didn't have his powers, he was still way more powerful than some regular soldiers.

So he could easily handle them, but it's been too long since I iced some fuckers from Velora.

I iced them, right in front of Jamie's eyes which made him turn around instantly. "Oh finally the cute couple has arrived"

"We had some important stuff to do" I said, smiling.

Probably the whole reason why Velora was actually attacking us was right in my hands.

Jamie looked at it, frowned and turned to Riven. "Can you erupt some shadow walls or something to hold them back?"

Riven nodded. "On it"

"Let's go back to the castle" Jamie gestured to follow him.

We returned back to the castle and he immediately turned serious.

"What did you do?"

"I got your heart back" I shrugged as if it was no big deal, but it definitely was.

"You did what?" Jamie took a step closer. He looked mad, extremely mad.

Not the kind of reaction I was expecting but okay.

"I thought you were gonna be happy, we brought your heart back" I said as I took a step back. "We gave you a chance to have your powers back and to find love again"

The last sentence softened him up a little.

"Thanks Stormi, even though you're crazy, what if something happened to you?"

"I had the best protection with me" I shrugged.

"Yeah? What?"

"Riven" I laughed, causing him to roll his eyes. "So anyways, what now?"

"Nothing" he shrugged.

"What do you mean, nothing?"

"We need a healer, someone with medical powers to put that thing back inside of me" he pointed at his beating heart in the ice box.

"Okay then let's go-"

"We don't have a healer anymore, Stormi" he cut me off.

We didn't have one anymore because Aurora killed every healer.

Every time I thought we were one step in front of them, we were actually three behind.

Thanks to Aurora.

"So that's it?" I asked.

"That's it" he said before walking out.

"Hey! Take your heart with y-" I wanted to say but he already walked out. "Great"

I brought the ice box back to my room. I wanted to protect it. I was sure Queen Sophia would do anything to get it back.

And I would do anything to protect it.

Riven walked in an hour later, immediately taking his body armor off.

"I am so tired" he mumbled, looked at the heart that was on a little table in my room. "What's that doing here?"

"We don't have healers anymore so we actually got that back for nothing"

He was hesitant for a while, put his hand through his hair.

"What?" I asked.

"Zariya has healers" he said softly.

I frowned. "Zariya? As in the lost kingdom? That kingdom vanished decades ago, Riven"

"No it didn't"
