Once again, I was back in Atarah, even though it looked slightly different now.It was burned, buildings were in ashes, people weren't wearing a weapon anymore, they were wearing several.
It was all my fault.
Jamie took me on a walk around the city, probably just to show me what I've done.
People were staring at us, giving me side eyes, looking mad and I couldn't blame them.
"Are you doing this to torture me or something?" I asked. Jamie shrugged. "I want to show you what you've done, what happens when you don't control your powers"
"I was in control of my powers"
"You sure?" He raised his eyebrow. "Are you sure no one got in your head?"
I didn't know, I couldn't tell.
I thought it was me who did it, but I couldn't remember why I did it. It was as if I was kinda numb.
He took me to the castle after that. The only thing that wasn't burned.
"So what do I have to do now? Why did you take me here?" I asked.
He shrugged. "You can do whatever you want here, you're free"
"Okay, but why did you bring me here? What's your plan?"
"My plan?" He let out a chuckle. "I got you out of a wedding you didn't want in the first place, you should be thankful"
"Who said I didn't want to get married to Rio?"
"Your thoughts" he said as casual as possible.
"You should stop reading my thoughts!"
"You know how to block them" he immediately said. "If you didn't want me to know then you know how to do that"
We walked through the hallways of the castle and I didn't really know what to say to that.
Maybe he was right.I didn't close nor locked his door. All my thoughts went straight to him and he didn't respond once.
Until he showed up at my wedding of course.
"So I saved you, you're here now" he said as he looked at me. "So do whatever you want, find whatever you need to find"
"Right" I mumbled.
He pushed me against the wall, still kinda gentle though. "But I swear, if you dare burning anything or mess with my people again.."
"I will definitely kill you myself" he whispered.
Don't worry Chaos, I wasn't planning on killing your people.
I wanted to kill you.
But I was gonna start with his sister first.
She was way too happy lately, even if she didn't want to show it, Riven made her happy.
And if there was one thing that I learned, thanks to spending hours in the library back in Velora, it was that love fueled powers.
They might not know this, but they were way more powerful than before.
And I obviously had to stop that if I wanted to kill Stormi.
"Don't worry, I don't wanna mess with your people" I said as I pushed him away. "I will be a good little girl"
"Too bad" he chuckled before he walked away. "Oh by the way, you're staying in my room"
"What?" I followed him. "I don't wanna sleep with you"
"Once again, that's too bad" he looked back at me. "But you're still gonna sleep with me though"
That kinda ruined my plans. I wanted to wake up early, meet Riven in the kitchen.
Because Riven liked waking up early and making eggs. Stormi liked sleeping in. So I would be alone with Riven, which was perfect.
"It's my first night, I want to sleep alone today, then I will sleep with you, okay?"
He turned around, looked at me and he softened up.
He was kinda different now, as if he was showing emotions, feeling things.
I took a step closer to him, looked at him as innocent as I could. "I will prove that you can trust me"
"Fine" he mumbled.
Exactly what I wanted. I was gonna mess with him.
But first, I had to mess with Riven.
