Jamie took me out to the city once again while Stormi and Riven were fighting.

"You have nothing to do with their fight, I assume?" Jamie asked as we were standing on a pile of ashes.

A lot of buildings were gone, houses of people who had nothing to do with our fight.

Innocent people.

"Riven and I kissed and she walked in on that" I shrugged.

"You and Riven kissed?" He frowned as he looked at me.

"Yeah" I mumbled. "What about it? Are you jealous or something?"

"I think that is pretty obvious" he mumbled.

It was weird, it was as if he was actually jealous but he couldn't feel emotions. He was never jealous, he could never love me.

Or love anyone for that matter.

But what if he actually could? What if he was feeling something?

"What are you saying? That you wanna kiss me?"

He let out a chuckle but didn't reply.

We walked in the kitchen after our walk through the city. I don't know what Jamie wanted to get out of it.

He always took me to the city, just to show me around the ruins of the city.

Stormi was alone in the kitchen, leaning against the counter, looking straight ahead of her.

"Where's Riven?" I asked causing Stormi to look at me as if she wanted kill me.

Which she probably definitely wanted to.

"He's back to his own kingdom, I kicked him out"

"His own kingdom? Where's that?"

"That's none of your business" Stormi snapped. "Or do you want to visit him to kiss him again?"

"I wouldn't mind to taste him again" I smirked at her which caused her to push herself off the counter and walked in my direction.

"Do you really want to start this with me?" She raised her voice, her eyes turned light blue, like ice.

Did she really think she was stronger than me?

With her weak ice powers.

"You don't need to be mad that Riven actually preferred me over you, he always kinda did" I said, still with a smirk.

"Did he now?" She asked, her hands were starting to turn into ice and I'm sure she was about to strike me with ice.

"Calm down, both of you" Jamie said, walking up to us and grabbed my hand immediately.

"You're coming with me" he said, pulling me with him.

"It was a mistake to bring her here, Jamie" Stormi called after us. "You know how it always ends"

He clenched his teeth, didn't respond to his sister and just pulled me after him.

"What did she mean by that?" I asked.

Jamie took me to his room, looked at me as he rested against the wall.

"She means that you always end up betraying me, it's always the same circle"

"What circle?"

He sighed. "You fall for me, you want to run away with me and then you betray me"

"I didn't fall for you" I chuckled.

"But you will and you will want to run away and end up betraying me again" he looked up, looked straight in my eyes.

"Then why do you keep saving me?"

"Because I keep hoping the ending will be different" he walked up to me, put his hand on my cheeks. "That one time, you don't end up betraying me"

"How many times did this happen before?" I asked.

"A few times, but last time was the most devastating, you didn't only betray me, but also my entire kingdom"

And for the first time since that happened, I actually felt sorry. I felt bad.

"Why do I keep forgetting things?"

"Because they take your memories away" he brushed his thumb against my cheek. "I can give them back, but you have to trust me"

But that was exactly what I didn't do.
