CH. 3 Secret Embrace

I get home and mom is still at work. So much for a distraction I think out loud. I walk up the stairs and head straight for the shower.

That's what you need Ash wash away all these nerves! And today!

The day goes through my head like always except this time my mind goes straight to Adien and what I said! ugh he probably thinks I am a dumbass! My first words to him and what I stutter! Of course I am sure it doesn't matter he probably has a lot of girls after him what am I thinking of course HE DOES! Nobody that looks like that doesn't.

While getting dressed I think of how tomorrow will be..scratch that I don't want to think about tomorrow or the rest of the year! ugh why do I have to be so awkward!!Emma never had to deal with this voice in her head! She always goes after it no matter what!

I sit down on my bed and pull out my notebook.

* Green fields surround me and all arojnd me is a beautiful field of purple flowers. The sun is shining and it feels warm and amazing not humid like at home...the sky is blue so blue where am I? I see white flowers float past me..I try to catch one but they graze my fingers.

I look up ahead and see a willow tree swaying on top of a hill. I run to it feeling the amazing softness of the ground on my bare feet. I wish I could stay here..wherever here is?

" Ash..." a voice whispers.

I look up ahead and I see someone standing near the willow they have their arms opened and I get the sensation to run to them.

I reach them and the arms enslave me in a huge hug and spin me around. I laugh and that makes them laugh, a laugh so beautiful i swear to never forget it ..I look up to see there face but when I look up they're gone its just the wind and the trees.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! UGH NOT AGAIN! I debate on whether I should throw that evil thing at the wall! stupid alarm clock! WAIT A MINUTE! ALARM CLOCK! SCHOOL!OH MY GOSH!

I rush out of my bed and throw some clothes on. So much for looking cute today but then I think about it who cares what anyone thinks? Adien isn't the only guy on earth and besides he might not even be there! I hear Emma pull up and rush for the door I almost trip getting down the stairs. I hear her speakers blaring from outside the car.

" Iiiiiiiii'm gonna soak up the suuuuuun. Gonna tell everyone to lighten uuuuuuuup.... Well good morning Ms. Emberston or should I say Ms. Scott". Emma smiles and starts trying to master her singing skills some more.

" Emma I done told you.."

But she just turns up the music, completely forgetting me in the passenger seat.

" Keep it up Emms and you might break a window ". I joke.

She looks at me in fake shock. "oh haha very funny! I have you know I have a beautiful voice and I am gonna be singing all day today."

We arrive at the school before her threat can start.

She takes out her keys " see ya later ash-a-roni!" she sings and blows a kiss as she skips away.

Ash-a -roni? I laugh to myself as I get my books out and head to the buliding. I look around just being curious I tell myself. ha! yeah right my brain says! I keep feeling like someone is watching me..

I look around...nope no one hmmmm...

First block was a waste of time, I couldn't concentrate because I was thinking about how I feel asleep so early yesterday. It could be because I haven't been getting any sleep but that's weird cause I go to bed at the same time every night. When Emma or mom would ask why I looked tired, I would shrug my shoulders not because I didn't want to give them an answer, but because I didn't know the answer.
