I loved how I traumatised yall in last chapter... I loved the responses....

I am sane....

It had been a week since Jisoo had felt the sun on his skin without Seokmin hovering by his side.

The walls of the house were starting to feel closer each day, and he found himself longing for the world outside, even just a simple walk to the nearby park or a brief moment alone to breathe freely.

So, one morning, when Seokmin left briefly to run an errand, Jisoo dared to step out onto the back patio, savoring the small taste of freedom, his eyes searching the open sky as he felt something he hadn’t in weeks—a fleeting sense of peace.

But he barely had a moment to revel in it before he heard the sound of a car door slamming and footsteps approaching the back gate. His heart dropped, and before he could move, Seokmin’s figure emerged, his face betraying nothing but a faint smile. Yet there was a shadow in his eyes, one that Jisoo was beginning to recognize all too well.

“Bluebell,” Seokmin called, his voice gentle but firm, almost melodic. He stepped onto the patio, his gaze never leaving Jisoo’s face. “What are you doing out here?”

Jisoo swallowed, trying to hold his ground as he forced a smile. “I—I just needed a bit of fresh air. I thought, maybe… just a few minutes, you know?”

Seokmin approached him slowly, the smile never fading. He reached out, brushing his fingers along Jisoo’s shoulder in what looked like an affectionate gesture but felt far more chilling. “You didn’t think to wait for me? You know I don’t like you being out here… by yourself.”

Jisoo’s heart thudded as he struggled to keep his voice steady. “I just… I thought it would be fine, just this once. I was only here, on the patio…”

Seokmin’s hand moved from his shoulder to his back, and he pulled Jisoo closer, his voice dropping to a soft murmur, almost like a lullaby. “But what if something had happened? What if someone saw you, someone who doesn’t understand us like I do?” He ran his hand down Jisoo’s arm, squeezing lightly. “I’d hate for anything to come between us, Bluebell. You know that, don’t you?”

Jisoo’s eyes darted to the side, searching for any escape, but there was none. The world beyond the patio felt distant, unreachable, and Seokmin’s touch was like a chain keeping him bound.

“I just needed… some air,” Jisoo whispered, his voice barely audible.
“I thought I’d be okay…”

Seokmin’s grip tightened, and he leaned closer, his breath warm against Jisoo’s ear. “I know you did. But I need you to understand something, Bluebell.” His voice softened to a whisper, but the threat beneath it was clear. “You’re not allowed to go outside… not without me. Ever. Because if you do, I’d have to make sure you understand why that’s not safe. And I wouldn’t want that, would I?”

Jisoo felt his heart clench, his pulse racing as he forced himself to meet Seokmin’s gaze, trying to hide the fear in his eyes. “No… I understand.”

Seokmin’s smile grew, and he tilted his head, his fingers tracing small circles along Jisoo’s wrist. “Good. I only want to keep you safe, Bluebell. Everything I do… it’s because I love you.”

Jisoo bit his lip, nodding as he fought the tears threatening to surface. “I know. I… I understand.”

Seokmin’s smile softened, and he pressed a gentle kiss to Jisoo’s forehead. “That’s my good boy. Just remember—everything is better when we’re together. No one else will ever love you like I do.”

Jisoo forced a small nod, feeling the weight of Seokmin’s words settle like a heavy stone in his chest. He knew there was no escaping, not when every attempt would be met with that same, soft warning, that barely-veiled threat that kept him tethered to Seokmin’s side.
