You stood a little awkwardly beside the limo's bar as the driver headed toward the club, unsure what to do with yourself in the crowded space.

Aside from Camie, you didn't really know anyone here, and the unfamiliar faces around you only made the feeling worse.
But Camie—being Camie—didn't notice your awkwardness at all. She was far too busy belting out the lyrics to the song playing, completely in her element.
You couldn't help but giggle as you watched her grab a wine glass and use it like a microphone, performing her own concert in the center of the limo.
You'd always known you weren't built for this type of environment.
Clubs, limos, loud music, flashy lights—it was all the opposite of who you were. You weren't the "party till sunrise" kind of girl.
You were more of a stay home in comfy clothes, or hang out with two close friends at a quiet café type. Small groups, calm places, soft vibes. That was your comfort zone.
So standing here in a limo full of people you barely knew felt... overwhelming. Fun, sure, but still overwhelmingly not you.
Suddenly, a voice snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Don't just stand there! Come on, sit down!"
You blinked and turned to your side, surprised to find a girl with bright pink hair looking at you expectantly.
She wore denim shorts and a pink leopard-print halter top, her confidence almost glowing off her.
From the instant your eyes settled on her face, you recognized her instantly.
