October 13th, Friday - 3:35 pm
It was a perfect time in the afternoon, and you had just gotten done working.
Your work schedule was really weird and hard to keep up with. For example, some days you'd get home at 11 a.m. and other days at 5 p.m.
It all just depends on how many calls you have to take and how long they last.
Earlier in the day, your supervisor informed you that your shift might last until 6 p.m., which would be the latest you have ever worked.
Fortunately, three people canceled their appointment, meaning that you'd be able to get home earlier than expected.
As of right now, you were walking down the street from the usual cafe to your apartment complex.
You strut down the street with your favorite green matcha iced tea in hand as you listen to music.
You wore a comfy pair of light-wash jeans with a cozy navy blue knit sweater over top of your black tank top.
Since it was October, it was getting colder and colder, meaning that wearing thin clothes wasn't an option.
As you walked down the street, you sipped on your drink and scrolled through Instagram nearing your apartment.

3:46 pm
You had just arrived home and began to unwind in your apartment.
You placed your work bag on the hanger by the door and slipped off your shoes, sighing with relief as your feet met the cool floor.
Barefoot, you padded through your apartment toward your room, tugging your cardigan off your shoulders and letting the soft fabric slide down your arms.
By the time you reached your bed, the exhaustion of the day had fully settled into your bones. You let yourself fall onto the mattress, sinking into its warmth as the tension slowly melted from your body.
A deep exhale escaped you—finally, stillness after hours of nonstop movement and noise.
You pulled up your favorite fuzzy blanket around you—its warmth enveloped you like a gentle hug.
With a sense of indulgence, you reached for your phone, ready to lose track of time scrolling on reels.
Usually, you would go straight to sleep after getting home, but for some reason, today, you felt more energized.
