November 25th, Saturday - 10:24 am
The morning sunlight filters softly through the curtains of your apartment, casting golden streaks across the walls and blankets.
The quiet hum of the wind outside blends with the faint ticking of your bedside clock.
Your eyes flutter open reluctantly, the remnants of sleep still heavy in your mind.
The warmth of your bed is a comforting cocoon, and for a brief moment, you consider closing your eyes again, letting the world wait.
But then, a memory creeps into your consciousness-one so vivid it pulls you fully awake.
Yesterday's incident.
You groan internally as it replays in your mind.
"Do I know you?"
Your stomach twists at the memory, and you bury your face in your pillow with a muffled groan.
Bakugo of all people.
Of course, it had to be him.
The sheer embarrassment you felt yesterday resurfaces, and you feel the heat creep into your cheeks.
Sitting up slowly, you run a hand through your disheveled hair, trying to shake off the lingering awkwardness.
The soft fabric of your shirt brushes your skin as you swing your legs over the side of the bed.
Your gaze drifts toward the nightstand.
There, lying innocently amidst your clutter of books and a half-empty glass of water is your phone.
You pick it up hesitantly, the smooth surface cool against your fingers.
Another memory surfaces, this one less mortifying.
After that embarrassing call, you irritatedly texted Mina about how she had given you the wrong number.
She hadn't replied by the time you went to bed, but maybe-just maybe-she had responded now.
Unlocking your phone, you tap over to your messages.
Once you did, Mina's name glowed at the top of the screen. Below it, a string of unread messages from her.
