Nth time I am updating even when the target isn't completed I miss the old Wattpad where there were readers who valued our time :)

Also I will update whenever I'll feel like, I am not bound to anyone,if you were completing the target then it may have made some sense, till then no-  I don't take any unnecessary hate I simply block and move.

"Theme? Come on, Akshita. Seriously, I really don't think any of this is necessary," I said while flipping my parantha to the other side.

"Yeh parantha palatna band karo, aur jaldi se jakar tayar ho jao, Rooh." Dadi said as she entered the kitchen. (Stop flipping the flatbread, and go get ready)

I hurriedly went to touch her feet since today was my birthday. In the night everyone was in the room, except Dadaji and Dadi. They might be sleeping, but I needed to receive their blessings today, no matter what.

"Khush raho, janmdin ki bahut-bahut badhaiyan," she said while blessing me and smiling at me, which I returned with a smile of my own.( Be happy, many-many happy returns of the day)

Did I ever tell you how amazing, open-minded, and gracious the Rajvansh family is? Whether it's Dadaji or Dadi, neither of them ever asked me to wear a veil or insisted that I wear a saree every day.

Although Dadi isn't very frank to any of us and can be strict at times, she never said anything that would hurt me. And Dadaji too—he's such a good person. I often missed my own grandfather before, but with Dadaji, I never felt his absence.

"Mene phle hi bata dena hai, saree na pehna aaj aap," Abhir said as he walked in.(I am telling you in advance, don't wear a saree)

"Then what else?" I asked.

It's not like I was feeling shy to wear anything else. I had been to London, where I was always in shorts or casual clothes. After my wedding, though, I chose to wear sarees. I don't know why, but it just felt right, and I loved wearing them, as I felt pretty in them.

That's why I didn't bother changing my style, especially since I wasn't leaving the house so often, I used to be here only, indoors.

I saw Abhir smack his head when Dadi scolded him, "Stop doing that," she said, and then left.

He gulped after hearing her almost scolding loud voice, then peeked back at her as she left the kitchen. He turned to me while Akshita sat on the counter, munching on an apple.

With her mouth full, she mumbled something, "Dou-don't wea—"

"Thusle pehle," Abhir said, silencing her with a glare that was enough to stop her in her tracks.(Eat first)
