As they strolled through the pharmacy, Beomgyu's eyes landed on the row of pregnancy tests. His heart skipped a beat, and he reached out, grabbing one from the shelf.

Soobin glanced over, raising an eyebrow. "Wait a second… you've been feeling sick in the mornings, haven’t you?" He paused, realization dawning. "Gyu… did you… you know… with Yeonjun?"

Beomgyu’s cheeks turned a deep red as he averted his gaze. He mumbled, "Maybe… maybe not… maybe yes." He clutched the pregnancy test tightly, trying to avoid Soobin’s intense gaze.

Soobin let out a sigh, crossing his arms. "You’re telling me it’s possible, but you didn’t even think to… Gyu, you’re unbelievable sometimes."

"Hey!" Beomgyu retorted, turning to him with a pout. "It’s not like I planned this! It just… happened."

They walked to the counter, where the cashier scanned the item. "That’ll be fifteen dollars," she said, glancing between them with mild curiosity.

Beomgyu quickly looked over at Soobin, his eyes wide and pleading. "Hyung… please? Just this once?" he whispered, trying his best puppy-dog eyes.

Soobin groaned, trying to resist the look but finally caving with a sigh. "Fine… I’ve already lost this battle." He took out his wallet, muttering under his breath, “You’d better make this worth it, Gyu.”

As Soobin handed over the cash, Beomgyu flashed him a cheeky smile. “Thanks, hyung. You’re the best!” He clung to Soobin’s arm, practically skipping out of the store.

Once they got back to Soobin’s place, the smell of food greeted them from the kitchen, where Huening Kai was busily cooking. Hearing them come in, he turned, greeting them with a bright smile. "Hey, Soobi—" He cut himself off, noticing Beomgyu. "Oh, Beomgyu! Good to see you."

Beomgyu offered a shy smile. "Hi, Kai. It… it smells really good in here."

Huening Kai grinned, clearly pleased. "I’m making your favorite, Gyu. Come on, let's eat!"

Soobin moved to follow them into the kitchen, but Huening Kai shot him a playful glare. "And as for you, mister, keep your hands off the food until I say so." He turned back to Beomgyu with a warmer expression. "Gyu, come sit here."

They all settled around the table, diving into the food, though Beomgyu seemed unusually quiet. His mind kept drifting back to the pregnancy test in his pocket.

Huening Kai noticed, his brows furrowing in concern. "Gyu, are you alright? You’re not usually this quiet."

Beomgyu gave a nervous smile, waving it off. "Yeah, just… a lot on my mind."

After dinner, Beomgyu excused himself to the bathroom, his heart pounding as he pulled out the pregnancy test. Following the instructions carefully, he waited, each second feeling like an eternity. Finally, the result appeared. Positive.

His stomach dropped, a mix of emotions swirling inside him. Taking a deep breath, he steadied himself and made his way back to the others.

"Soobin-hyung…" he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I… I’m pregnant."

Huening Kai, who was sipping water, choked, nearly spraying the table. "Wait, what?! Did you say… you’re pregnant?"

Beomgyu nodded, biting his lip, his face a mix of panic and disbelief. "What… what am I supposed to do? How am I going to tell Yeonjun-hyung?"

Soobin reached over, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Breathe, Gyu. One step at a time. Yeonjun needs to hear this from you."

Just then, a knock sounded at the door, making them all jump. Beomgyu's eyes widened. "Oh no… that’s him." Taking a deep breath, he walked over and opened the door to see Yeonjun standing there with a calm smile.

"Hey, Beomgyu. You alright?" Yeonjun asked, noting Beomgyu’s pale face. "You look like you’ve seen a ghost."

Beomgyu managed a weak smile. "I… I’m fine. Come on, let’s go."

They got into Yeonjun’s car, but as soon as they started driving, Yeonjun glanced over, his brow furrowed with concern. "Gyu, what’s going on? You’ve been acting weird all day."

Beomgyu hesitated, his hands shaking slightly. He took a deep breath, gathering the courage to speak. "Yeonjun… if… if you found out you were going to be a… a parent, how would you feel?"

Yeonjun looked at him, puzzled. "A parent? I mean… I’ve thought about it, but… Gyu, what’s this about?"

Wordlessly, Beomgyu reached into his pocket and handed the pregnancy test to Yeonjun. He watched as Yeonjun’s eyes widened, taking in the positive result.

"Beomgyu…" Yeonjun whispered, a mix of shock and wonder in his voice. "You’re… you’re pregnant?"

Beomgyu nodded, his voice barely audible. "I didn’t know how to tell you… I was so scared."

Yeonjun’s expression softened, and he took Beomgyu’s hand, squeezing it gently. "Hey… you don’t have to be scared. I’m here, okay? We’ll figure this out together."

Beomgyu felt a wave of relief wash over him, and he smiled softly. "Really?"

"Yes, really." Yeonjun pulled the car over to the side of the road, turning to look at him fully. "This is huge, Gyu, and I’m not going to pretend I’m not a little scared too. But… I want this. I want… us."

Tears welled up in Beomgyu’s eyes, and he laughed softly, a weight lifting from his chest. "Thank you… I was so worried you’d be mad or… not want this."

Yeonjun gently brushed a tear from Beomgyu’s cheek, smiling warmly. "We’re in this together, alright? You, me, and…" He looked down, placing a hand gently over Beomgyu’s stomach. "Our little one."

Beomgyu chuckled through his tears, a feeling of warmth and security surrounding him. "I… I love you, Yeonjun."

Yeonjun’s eyes softened, and he leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Beomgyu’s forehead. "I love you too, Gyu. Let’s go home and talk more, okay? We’ve got a lot to plan."

With a newfound sense of hope, they drove home, both of them ready to face the future together.
