Morning drive at Picnic spot:
The car cruised along a winding road, framed by lush greenery. Ezzah fiddled with the radio, skipping from one station to another, her expressions changing with each new tune. Talha glanced at her, smirking.
Talha : "Decided yet, or should I turn off the radio to save you from this existential crisis?"
Ezzah : "Excuse me, Mr. Perfection, finding the right song is an art. You wouldn't understand."
Talha : "Oh, I understand just fine. It's called indecisiveness."She turned to him, glaring.
Ezzah : "Astaghfirullah! Tumhare sarcasm ka toh jawab nahi." (Your sarcasm is unmatched!)
Talha : "Astaghfirullah toh tum bol rahi ho. Mujhe toh shukar ada karna chahiye that I'm still sane after spending so much time with you." (You're saying Astaghfirullah? I should thank Allah for staying sane after spending so much time with you.)
Ezzah grabbed a small pack of tissues from the dashboard and tossed it at him.
Ezzah: "Shut up and focus on driving, Talha!"
Talha (chuckling): "Sure, madam. Your wish is my command."The Picnic spot - Forest Clearing:
The car finally came to a stop at a picturesque clearing. A small river meandered through the area, its gentle gurgling adding to the tranquility. Talha grabbed the picnic basket while Ezzah pulled out the mat.
As they spread the mat on the ground, Ezzah's scarf fluttered with the breeze. Talha paused mid-action, his eyes lingering on her for a moment.
Talha: "You know, you could give the scenery some serious competition."
Ezzah (startled): "What?"
Talha: "I'm just saying. You blend in perfectly here-peaceful, beautiful, and stubborn as the rocks."
Ezzah raised her hand threateningly, holding a sandwich packet.
Ezzah: "One more word, and this sandwich is going straight at your face."
Talha: "Food wastage is a sin, Prettysoul. Allah ka khauf karo." (Fear Allah.)
She sat down with a huff, but a smile tugged at her lips. Talha sat across from her, offering her a cup of tea.
Talha: "Truce? No nok-jhok until we finish this tea."
Ezzah: "That's impossible, Talha. You're incapable of staying quiet."
Talha: "You're right. But you love it, don't you?"
Ezzah blushed and looked away, mumbling, "In your dreams."
