Ch-last strode into the metallic halls of the Disassembly Drone facility with her usual swagger, ignoring the calculating stares from other Drones. She was used to standing out – her easygoing approach to missions, her strange sense of humor, and her tendency to "celebrate" with oil shots didn't exactly fit with the stoic, mission-focused style the Disassembly Drones favored. But she didn't mind. She was here to do the job her way.

Today, however, was different. She was finally assigned to a squad, and from the whispers she'd overheard, this wasn't just any squad. They were the elites – the Disassembly Drones who got results, the ones the upper management trusted. The Serial Designations were J and N.

She finally found her way to the meeting room, where J and N were waiting. J was exactly how others had described: sharp-eyed, expression cold, and posture perfect, as though nothing could ruffle her.

N, on the other hand, looked... friendly. He beamed when he saw her and waved.

"Hi! You must be Ch-last. I'm N!" His voice was so cheerful, Ch-last had to hold back a smirk.

"Great to meet you, N," she replied, then shot a mock salute at J. "And you must be the legendary J."

J raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "If by 'legendary' you mean competent, then yes. Welcome to the squad, Serial Designation Ch."

"Let's skip the formalities," Ch-last said with a grin. "Call me Ch-last. Or just Ch, if that's easier."

J's eyes narrowed, but she didn't respond. N's smile, on the other hand, grew even wider.

"Ch-last it is!" he said. "We'll be a great team, right?"

"Right," Ch-last said, but she could tell J was scrutinizing her, maybe even doubting if she'd be a good fit.

"Well, let's see what kind of fun we can have out there," Ch-last added, trying to lighten the mood.

J's look didn't soften, but N seemed unbothered, like he was genuinely excited to have her onboard.
