As the override signal spread, drones from all over started reaching out. Some were Disassembly Drones like Ch-last and N, but more and more Worker Drones were joining the resistance as well. Drones that had previously kept to themselves, staying quiet and afraid, were now inspired by the rebellion's call.

One evening, as Ch-last was working on setting up a new secure communications line, she noticed a small group of Worker Drones cautiously approaching their hideout. She immediately recognized two familiar faces from Uzi's tales—Thad and Lizzy, drones who had stuck with Uzi through thick and thin.

Thad waved nervously, looking a bit uncomfortable among so many Disassembly Drones. "So, uh, we heard there's a rebellion going on? Figured we might help... if that's alright."

Uzi bounded forward, a wide grin on her face. "Thad! Lizzy! You made it!" She turned to Ch-last with pride. "See? I told you I had friends. They're some of the few who didn't get crushed or scrapped."

Lizzy rolled her eyes but nodded. "Yeah, and I figured if we're gonna survive this mess, we might as well be with you weirdos."

N stepped forward, offering a warm smile. "Welcome. We could use all the help we can get."

J watched from a distance, her arms crossed and her expression as unreadable as ever, but she didn't object. Ch-last took it as a sign that J was starting to trust them, even if only a little.

Over the next few days, Thad and Lizzy became valuable members of the team. Thad had an impressive knack for fixing things, which proved useful when they needed to repair their equipment. Lizzy, on the other hand, was fierce and relentless, her bravery making her a natural leader among the other Worker Drones who were hesitant to join the fight.
