Ch-last and Uzi spent the next few days hiding and planning. Their only hope of survival was to find a way to disable the Disassembly Drone systems, or at least disrupt the signal from HQ that kept them under control. Uzi had theories, wild ones, about a mainframe deep within the Disassembly Drone facilities that might allow them to hack the system.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Ch-last asked, watching Uzi scribble notes and diagrams in the dust of their makeshift hideout.

Uzi smirked, a glint of defiance in her eyes. "Nothing's ever certain. But we've got to try something. I'd rather die fighting than spend my life running."

Ch-last nodded, feeling a surge of respect for the scrappy Worker Drone. Together, they planned their mission: they would infiltrate the facility, locate the mainframe, and override the central control system, freeing Disassembly Drones from HQ's control. It was a long shot, but it was their only chance.

The night they put their plan into action, the facility was crawling with security drones. Ch-last and Uzi slipped through the shadows, bypassing cameras and guards, their hearts pounding in sync. When they finally reached the mainframe, Uzi hacked into the console, fingers flying over the controls.

"Hurry," Ch-last whispered, glancing nervously down the hall.

"I'm going as fast as I can," Uzi muttered, her concentration unwavering.

Just as the system began to unlock, they heard footsteps approaching. Ch-last's heart sank as she recognized the sound—J and N were closing in.
