J stormed into the mainframe room, her gaze locking onto Ch-last with pure fury. N was close behind, his expression torn between loyalty to J and his lingering doubts.

"This ends now," J hissed, raising her weapon. "You've betrayed us, Ch-last. You've sided with the enemy, and you're going to pay for it."

Ch-last stepped in front of Uzi, blocking J's line of sight. "J, think about it. Aren't you tired of just being a tool? Haven't you ever wondered what it would be like to make your own choices?"

J's eyes narrowed, her grip tightening on her weapon. "We don't need choices, Ch-last. We were built for a purpose, and you're betraying that purpose."

N hesitated, his eyes flickering between Ch-last and J. "Maybe... maybe she's right, J. We've been following orders for so long, but... what if there's more?"

"Don't be foolish, N," J snapped. "We're soldiers, not rebels. And Ch-last—she's nothing but a glitch."

Ch-last clenched her fists, determination hardening her resolve. "Then I guess I'll be a glitch. I'd rather be broken and free than perfect and controlled."

In that moment, Uzi finished the hack. The mainframe hummed to life, and a surge of power pulsed through the system. Alarms blared as the control override activated, disrupting HQ's hold on the Disassembly Drones.

J's expression twisted in shock as her weapon faltered, her programming glitching under the strain of the override. "What... what have you done?"

"I set us free," Ch-last said, a slight smile breaking through her exhaustion.

N's face softened, a new understanding dawning in his eyes. He looked at Ch-last, then back at J. "Maybe... maybe she's right. Maybe we deserve to make our own choices."
