I don't even know where to begin. It's been a few days since we overrode HQ's control, and things feel... different. For the first time, we're truly free.
J isn't speaking to me much, but I can tell she's starting to understand. She still gives me these looks like I betrayed everything she stands for, but she hasn't tried to stop me. And N... he's been by my side. I think he gets it now, maybe even agrees, though he's too sweet to say it out loud.
As for Uzi, she's... well, she's Uzi. Full of fire and impossible ideas. She's already talking about "changing the system" and freeing more drones. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm starting to believe her.
We're hiding out for now, lying low until we can figure out our next move. But for the first time in forever, I feel like I have a choice. I'm not just a cog in a machine or another Disassembly Drone.
I'm Ch-last. And I'm ready to see what's next.
