The Day We Met (Captain Swan)

Chapter 11

{Emma's P.O.V.}

I woke up and realized I overslept. I knew it was too late for breakfast, so instead I got up from my bed and felt like an ice cold blanket was being wrapped around me. My room was too cold!

I got my diary from one of my drawers and opened it with the key that was in a chain wrapped around my neck after sitting on my desk and started writing on it.

Dear diary:
Once more, there is a lot to tell, one of them is that Killian and I left Ruby and Whale alone yesterday and they actually got along pretty well!
And that was our plan, to get them to be together.
That is all we want for them, to be happy, and if it isn't together as a couple, at least as friends.

The other thing is that Killian is coming over for dinner with Liam. I don't know why, but I am nervous.
Probably because it is the first time that Killian will meet my parents as my boyfriend and not as someone I don't know like the first time they met.
I know they will get along, I just know it, but what if they don't?
They never got to actually know each other, only like to say hi and bye, nothing more.
I am happy I will see Liam again, even though I saw him about two days ago, and I just feel like my parents will love Killian.

They already know we are dating but they haven't met him properly, and I still need to tell my parents that they are coming for dinner tonight.

Well, goodbye, diary.
I'll write tomorrow!

Once I had finished writing in my diary I closed it and placed it back on my drawer before getting ready.

When I finished doing so I went to the castle's garden, knowing my mother would be there. I needed to tell her!

And I wasn't wrong, my mom is taking care of some plants.

"Mom?" I call for her once I am at the garden.

"Morning, Emma. You overslept, didn't you. That can't happen again, you have responsibilities" she says and I nod.

"Of course, sorry about that.. I actually wanted to ask you something, if not it is totally alright.." I say nervously.

Why am I so nervous!?  I think to myself.

Maybe I shouldn't have asked..

"And what is that?" My mother asks. "well.. is just that I invited Killian and Liam over for dinner... is that okay?" I ask and she smiles.

"Of course thats alright, darling! I'd love to have them over! And I can't wait to meet Killian properly!" She exclaims and pulls Emma into a bone-crushing hug. "I'm so happy for you!" She adds before pulling apart.

"Thanks mom! I'll go tell dad!" I say while grinning.

I practically run upstairs to my dad's office to tell him. I knock on the door before entering. I hear a 'come in' and I open the door before going in.

"Hello, sweetheart!" My dad says and leaves what he is doing aside to talk to me.

I love how my dad always pays full attention to what I say and always approve what I think.

"Hi dad, I hope I didn't interrupt your work... Anyways, I wnated to tell you that Killian and Liam are coming over for dinner, my mom told me it was okay.. is it okay with you?" I ask and smile slightly.

"It is okay with me too, I need to meet that boyfriend of your's"

"Dad! Tell me that doesn't mean that you will give him an overprotective dad speech!" I plead.

"Maybe I will... maybe not.." He smiles and I roll my eyes.

"Anyhow.. Thanks!" I say and leave so he can continue working.

I can't wait to see Killian tonight!

Time skip.

30 minutes before Killian and Liam arrive.

I am finishing my look by adding a little bit of make up, not too much, just enough for it to look nice and natural.

I am wearing a light blue dress that is just above my knees and silver high heels. I am also using the neacklace my dad gave me for my birthday.

After some minutes of getting ready I heard a knock on my door. I open it and see my butler.

"Princess, Emma, Lieutenant Killian and Captain Liam Jones are here." He says.

"Thanks! I'll be down in a minute"

I say and smile, finally!
