The Day We Met (Captain Swan)

Chapter 21

{Writer's POV}
The next morning

Killian wakes up before Emma does, before the beauty wrapped in his arms who will marry him wakes up.

Killian smiles at the thought of getting married with his Swan.

Getting married.

Such a simple and complex word at the same time.

He is so happy that he will get to marry the woman he loves, the most important woman in his life.
He is glad social status didn't come in the way this time and he knows he is lucky they didn't. He knows he is lucky that Emma's kingdom is doing really well at the moment so Emma doesn't need to be forced to marry a prince to unite the kingdoms.
He is glad he will be the one marrying Emma.

He looks down at her and smiles at her curled up form that makes her look tinier than usual, the way her arms are wrapped around him and the slight smile on her face, completely at ease.

He starts playing with her hair, this has become a habit now, he does this at anytime. When they hug each other, when they are just relaxing and sitting down, when they talk, pretty much every time he starts playing with her hair and she loves it. It helps her relax.

A little while later Emma starts to wake up, Killian then proceeds to place a soft kiss on her forehead, making her bright green eyes look up at his blue ones and beam him a beautiful smile.

"Good morning, princess" he smiles.

Emma smiles and snuggles her head in his neck, Killian rubs her back slightly and grins at her.

"Morning" she says and kisses his cheek. "How'd you sleep?"

"Good, you?" He asks and she nods.

"Great! You know, I can't believe we are engaged, I really couldn't be happier" she smiles up at him.

"Yeah, I am rally happy too"
He says and kisses her forehead.

After a while of cuddling they decide it is time for breakfast, where Snow tells Emma that Ruby is coming in a day and that she doesn't know about their engagement so Emma will surprise her. James is also coming with her, Emma is happy for Ruby, it seems she finally found her special someone since they have been together for quite the time now.

After breakfast and getting ready, the engaged couple decided to visit Liam.

"Hey Emma! Killian!" Liam greeted as he saw them.

"Hi!" Emma smiled and hugged him quickly. "Hey!" Killian added and did one of those men hug.

Liam looked at Killian, and Killian nodded. With a simple look he knew that Liam wanted to know if he did propose, because of course he knew, he is his brother and closest friend, he helped Killian plan a few things out. 

"So, Emma. It seems you will be my sister in law!" He smiled and Emma nodded with a bright smile.

"Yes! I will!" She exclaimed and Killian chuckled, placing an arm around her waist, completely happy about her excitement.

"Anything planned yet?" Liam asks as they walk towards his room.

"Not really, he proposed yesterday so no" she says and they all sit down on.

They keep on talking about the wedding and stuff.

The next day Ruby and James arrive, having no clue about the big news.

They all sit in the living room and start talking.

"Emma, Killian, is there anything you want to tell us? You guys seem happier than usual, not that it isn't good, but you get me" Ruby asks and James nods, wanting to know what's going on too.

Emma and Killian laugh a little and Emma shoots Killian a glance, telling him to tell them.

He nods and takes ahold of Emma's hand before speaking.
"Well, we are engaged" he smiles and so does Emma.

"What!? That's amazing!" Ruby exclaims, standing up now.

"Congratulations! I'm very happy for you guys!" James says.

Ruby walks rapidly towards Emma and embraces her in a tight hug. A really tight hug.

"Emma I'm so happy for you!" She says and Emma giggles.

"Thanks, but your kind of squishing me"

"Oh! Sorry" she says and liberates Emma from the hug. Emma just laughs.

"When did all this happen?" James asks, everyone is on their feet now.

"Two days ago" Emma says and Killian nods.
She takes Killian's hand and smiles at him.

"I can't believe it!" Ruby smiles.

One month later

After one month of planing there was still a lot to plan so Emma and Killian decided to get married in five months.
Six months of engagement would be enough for them to be ready.
The kingdom knew about Emma's engagement, and everyone seemed to like them together because they were all happy when they told them at the celebration ball.

They are together, sitting at the living room. They had just finished planning some thing with Snow's help and some more people who where helping.

Killian has his arm around Emma's waist and her head is resting on his chest.

She sighs happily as he rubs her back slightly.

"All this planning is more tiring than it seems" she says as she closes her eyes and he plays with her hair.

"Aye, the good thing is that we will be together forever" he says and she nods with a smile.

"I know. I love you" she says as she looks up at him.

He smiles and places a soft kiss on her lips. "I love you too"

They kept cuddling before Snow, Charming and Tom, crew member from Killian and Liam's ship, came with the worst news possible.

"Killian, Liam is dead"
Tom said sadly. Snow and David had sad looks on their face too.

Okaay, last chapter I told you it was The End and then I said it wasn't but some of you thought it was. It isn't.
Also, the bad things aka the part of the story where the problems are is starting now.
