The Day We Met (Captain Swan)

Chapter 18

{Emma's POV}
Present

"About bloody time" Killian whispers with a smirk on his face.

I smile as I hear him and look up at him before placing a soft kiss on his cheek.

He looks down at me and smiles. We are in complete silence, no words escaping our lips, just a comforting silence that makes you want to stay in that place forever. The kind of silence that helps you think everything in a matter of seconds.

As we are in silence we are looking into each other's eyes, just analyzing whatever comes to our minds at the moment.

His eyes are a deep blue, they make you get lost in them, most people would say it is a sea blue, but in my opinion it isn't.

Sea blue is a darker blue, but Killian's eyes are more of a swiss blue topaz.
A beautiful gemstone.

A blue topaz helps you get your stress away, solve problems, it also soothes you and calms you according to people. And according to me, that's what Killian helps me do.

He helps me be happy when I'm stressed with simply holding my hand, he helps me solve a problem by being there for me and helping me through out the process, he soothes me, all the time whenever he is around and he calms me down when his blue topazes piercing into my eyes.

I have figured that he has been the only one who can read me like a book. He knows when I'm not happy, when I'm sad, when I am happy. He knows everything that's going on inside of my mind, and that is somehow easier for me. Because he can just look into my eyes and comfort me if he sees that I'm not okay.

It is all perfect when I am with him, and I am really half I found him, or he found me.. Whatever. All I wished for is ti find my special someone and now that I found him I couldn't be happier.

All this time that I have been thinking of him had only been a lapse of 3 minutes. Time with Killian freezes and helps me analyze everything.

I feel safe with him, I feel happy and loved and I hope he feels the same when he's with me.
I can't believe we actually just said I love you.

Three words with a huge meaning.

I- me; myself.
Love- intense feeling of affection; the most beautiful thing in life.
You- yourself.

I love you.
Three words that can change your life completely.

"What are you thinking about?" I hear Killian's voice.

"Uh?.. Nothing important" I mumble and he looks at me, he knows it wasn't 'nothing important'.

I roll my eyes slightly and look up at him "that I love you..." I mumble and blush.

He smirks and takes my hand in his "I love you too"

I smile and kiss his cheek before resting my head on his shoulder.

After that we start eating some delicious sandwiches that a worker from my castle made.

They are amazing. I am so happy that I found Killian, I've thought about this really much but it is just the truth.

I really can't see myself without him, he makes me really happy, and I never though I'd be this close and happy with someone that my parents actually like and approve.

My dad has admitted that he likes Killian, they always talk about who knows what but they get along really well. And I really appreciate that.

And my mom, oh god, my mom! She really likes Killian, she says that he is a really nice guy and he says he's handsome. And she is very happy that we are together.

Liam also likes Killian and I together, he says that we are perfect for each other, and that he is glad Killian found someone, and he is happy that someone is me.

And I am now very happy that we finally said I love you! We have been together for six months!

"Oh, there is one more thing that I prepared for you"

"What? Swan you really didn't have to-" he starts but I cut him off.

"Of course I had to, I wanted to, you make me really happy and I just really wanted to do something special for you"

He smiles and kisses me slightly.
"Thanks, love. You make me really happy too"

I smile and blush. Even after six months every sweet thing he says, or little cute action he does makes me blush.

I take his hand and start walking back towards the castle. All the picnic stuff was going to be taken back to the castle by some maids whom I love and trust dearly.

Once we get there we walk to the main room and the lights are off, I turn them on and everyone yells 'surprise!' .

By everyone I mean my parents, Liam, Ruby, Whale and about 13 guys who are friends with Killian and work with him at the ship.

Killian smiles "thanks everyone" he than turns to me and smiles before pulling me into his arms.
"Thanks, Swan. I love you" he whispers in my ear.

I smile, my arms around him.
"You're welcome, I love you too" I say and we slowly pull apart. He places a kiss on my cheek and once again, I blush.

He the proceeds to thank everyone with a smile on his handsome features and they wish him a happy birthday.

There is some music playing and Ruby, Whale, Killian and I are talking about everything that has been going on.

After some time Killian is pulled by some of his friends and they start talking. I smile as I see Killian happy, enjoying his birthday.

Then the cake comes, we all wish him a happy birthday once more and we are all given a piece of the delicious chocolate cake.

It is an amazing and fun day. And I am glad and happy that Killian enjoyed his day.
