The Day We Met (Captain Swan)

Chapter 26

{Writer's POV}

It has been exactly five days after they talked about him leaving. They still have two days until he leaves and they have not once mentioned it. They have been together 24/7 and they don't plan on changing that. They would walk along the beach, Killian would sometimes throw a little bit of water at her and she would do it back, they would go out to eat together, walk hand in hand, go to their special place, cuddle in bed and everything together, they even had a double date with Ruby and Whale, who actually moved to a cute cottage near the castle.

They would do anything a normal couple would do.

Present Time

Killian just woke up and immediately wraps his strong arms around her beautiful fiancée, who's back was now pressed to his front, she slowly wakes up as she rests her head on his arm, he kisses her cheek softly, making her smile, they stay like that, cuddling in their bed for a long time. Not wanting to do anything else but stay in their home, together.

Emma is thinking of telling him what she has been waiting a little two long to tell him right in this moment, but she just can't, what if he gets mad at her? She can't have him being mad at her, much less since they have only two days together.

She decides not to tell him, not now at least.

"Sweetheart?" Killian calls her for the millionth time, she finally snaps out of her thoughts.

"Sorry, what?" She asks. "What were you thinking about?"

"Umm, nothing interesting" She ensures cautiously.

"...Em, you can tell me anything, you know that, right?" He says doubtless.

"Of course, I know. I trust you with my life" She fakes a smile. She hates lying to him, it is a temporary lie since she will tell him, or so she hopes.

Of course Killian can see through her fake smile, he knows her better than she knows herself, he does know she did mean what she said though, and he has faith that she will soon tell him what is going on, and she hopes that herself too.

Soon enough they both get out of bed, take a shower and get ready to start their day together.

Emma chooses on a cute, short, navy blue dress, she wishes she could wear something more simple and comfortable since all she will do is stay home with her fiancé, but her mother would always tell her: A princess' attire is a lifestyle, not something to impress with.

"You look stunning, darling" Killian compliments with a smile, just like every other day.

"Thank you, Killy. You don't look too bad yourself" She teases and he smirks, giving her a sweet peck on the lips before taking her small hand in his' and heading to the garden, where they would be having breakfast.

"Goodmorning!" Snow cheers with a smile, always so happy.

"Hi mom"

"Goodmorning, your majesty" Killian adds.

"Killian, please. How many times do I need to tell you to call me Snow. There is no need to be that formal" The brunette says, this is something she would say almost daily since Killian would always call her that.

"Aye, my apologies"

"Don't worry, take a seat" She orders and we do so just as the delicious breakfast is served at the table.

They started silently eating their breakfast, Emma and Killian were holding hands under the table like a pair of teenagers would.

Emma was enjoying the view of a part of the huge garden at the castle.

The day soon came to an end and the couple was at their bed, cuddling, ready to end the day.

Two Days Later

Today is the day Killian leaves and Emma hasn't come around to tell him yet, she feels ready, she just can't find the right time.

They are all at he living room, saying their goodbyes to Killian.

"Goodbye, Snow" He says and Snow smiles.

"You called me Snow!" She squeals, making all laugh. Emma just giggles, not being able to do more than that, not even wanting to.

Killian hugs his future mother-in-law and she tells him to be safe.

Next is David, who surprisingly pulls Killian in for a tight hug. Killian wasn't expecting this at all since it took a few seconds for him to react and hug him back. "Be safe, Jones. I expect you to come back" He says and Killian nods. "Aye, thanks. I will"

Killian continues with Ruby and Whale, and even some of the castle's employees he has grown fond to.

Emma had agreed with him that they would say their goodbyes at the docks and that didn't change.

They are in front of the Jewel of the Realm, or at least that's what it was called. They are in front of the Jolly Roger, embracing each other tightly, Emma was crying so hard it didn't even seem possible, but even Killian had tears running down his perfectly sculptured face.

"I will come back, my Swan. Just wait for me" He says. She nods ever so slowly that Killian barely notices.

"I love you so much. I will wait for you, always" She says, her voice cracking.

"I love you too, sweetheart." He assures and Kisses the top of her head, her forehead and her cheeks before pulling her in for the most passionate kiss they've had for a while.

After what seems like ages, they pull back and before any of them can ay goodbye, Killian goes up his ship and starts giving everyone orders. They all follow his lead and soon the Jolly Roger is now navigating.

Killian's eyes are locked with Emma's. She realizes she never told him, so she whispers to herself.

"...Killian... I'm pregnant"
