"I won't Emma. I won't ever make the same mistake"
"Good"
"So, that means you forgive me?"
She sighs and doesn't respond. After a short while she nodded slowly.
"I do, but that doesn't mean everything will go back to the way it was. Also, August is still here and I don't think he will just leave"
"Aye, I know we won't go back to how we were instantly, but I will work as much as I can to make you fully forgive me"
He said, making her smile a little."And with August, I know he won't just leave. No one would just leave you so you could go to another man, that'd be bloody stupid. But Emma, love, we got to try this, I won't give up on us, you know that. I'd never leave you again, it took the biggest mistake I have ever committed to learn that" He took her hands in his, hoping that Emma would want to be together as much as he did, even though it was hard, there was nothing he wanted more than to be with her.
It's always been that way, even when he was away, not a day went by he didn't think of her. Her and that beautiful smile that could light up the darkest of nights, that long, golden hair that you could easily be confused with thousands of the finest gold strings. Those emerald eyes that drove him crazy and he always got lost in the second he looked at them.
Every single detail about Emma Swan drove Killian crazy. But Emma didn't know that. She accepted Killian back in her life mainly because she missed him so dearly. Just as him, she always thought of him.
She nodded slowly but firmly. "I'll talk to him. It won't be facile... But I'm willing to do anything for us. I really am, Killian"
This made Killian smile like he hadn't in a very long time. Making his pearly whites show, Emma following right behind him and smiling back just as much.
He took her hand and guided her out of his cabin. "Where are we going?"She asked, a little confused.
"You'll see"
He was taking her somewhere special. He had planned to propose to her here, but chose the beach instead since they held so much good memories there.
It was somewhat far but the wait was worth it the moment Emma saw this place. She was taken aback by it's beauty. She couldn't understand how Killian always found new places for them both to share their moments in. He always made her feel special... Unique.
"So? What do you think, Swan?" He asked, even thugh the answer waspretty obvious because her expresion gave it all out. Plus, he could read her like a book.
"Killian, this place is magical! Wonderful! Beautiful!" She hugged him so tightly she thought she had taken all the breat out of his strong body, but she was relieved once she felt his sculptured arms around her slim figure just as tightly as she was embracing him.
This is all they both had wanted for a very long time, and finally having it they couldn't be happier.
Of course there were tons of things they still needed like what they would tell her parents, August and even Caroline. After all she is his daughter.
Emma was sure her mom would be happy for her. She's back with Killian, she's happy, of course Snow would be happy. But Emma wasn't so sure about his dad.
David trusts August so much, and he wouldn't make him leave just like that because someone form Emma's past came back.Emma had no idea what she would do, what her dad would say, how August would react, what the kingdom would think. But everything in Emma's mind right now was only one person.
Killian.
Killian and their truthful and strong love.
Emma was still having a little bit of doubt, thinking he would leave her again, but she was sure he would prove to her that he was staying for good this time, and nothing or no one would change that. They had a great time, laughing and just talking about everything their happy hearts desired and anything that came to their minds. And that is what they missed most apart from being with each other. They missed being able to talk like this, with no one interrupting.
After they watched the sunset they went back to the castle, Emma's parents would be going crazy, she left this morning and she didn't come back until late that day.
"Mom! Dad! I'm back!" Emma yelled once Killian and her were inside the castle.
"Emma! Where were you?" David asked, in a very loud voice, but they couldn't have expected any less, of course he was mad and now more seeing who was with his daughter, holding her hand.
"Why are you with him?" He asked firmly. At this point Snow and August were standing by David's side. Snow had a small smile on her face.
"Umm, we- we're back together, dad" Emma said in a very low voice.
August's brows furrowed. "you're what?" He asked, of course he was going to be confused, pissed even. Just this morning him and Emma were still together and now she comes back hand in hand with the man who left her and says they're back together. Is she playing games with him?
She knew he loved her. But just as she knew that, August knew she didn't love him. But he thought her feelings for him would improve with time.
"We are together. Look, I know what you are going to tell me. But we need to talk, okay? Just... not here" She pleaded and he just gave her a small nod.
"I guess I should be leaving. Excuse me, your majesties. August." He made a small vow and kissed Emma's hand. "Goodnight, Swan"
And with that he left. Emma missed being called that."So, Emma? When can we talk?" August asked.
"yeah?"
"When can we talk?"
"Can we just talk tomorrow please? I'm very tired. Goodnight" And before August could agree, her dad could be mad at her and her mom could congratulate her, she left to her room.
