The sun. It's dark. All people are shouting for help, running around while men wearing cloaks are running after them. They shoot daggers through their hands. Some shoots fire, waters and lightning. Some are flying and disappearing, then suddenly appear out of nowhere.
"What's happening?" I said to myself.
I saw myself levitating, eyes gone white on top of a hill. My friends are around me, different than we usually are. Zara manipulating the water, creating big currents and tsunami, unaliving some. Kalli manipulates the fire, creating big and bright flames, burning all those who stands on her way. River is teleporting everywhere, appearing on places, picking some people and bringing them to God knows where. Aster made a shield, transparent while the cloak men are battling her, making them defenseless. Niamh who was fighting the others, touching their heads while lights flow through her hands to the head of the ones she touched. And after a while, it died.
Mabilis na kumabog ang puso ko sa nakikita. It's a war. And the six of us were fighting. Suddenly, a man - whose much more powerful than most of them - came out of nowhere and started to form a big round thing I couldn't understand what. It creates a destructive action, wiping almost all the people in there.
Napabalikwas ako sa pagkakatulog at napahawak sa aking dibdib. Hinihingal ako at parang hinabol ng sobrang bilis. I had a nightmare again. Lately, lagi akong nananaginip nang mga ganoong bagay. Napanaginipan ko rin nga si Liam, and he became a robot. Hindi ko alam kung bakit.
Bumaba ako sa kusina at uminom ng tubig. Kuya Johan is here pero wala parin si mom and dad.
"Good morning, sis." bati nito sakin.
Lumapit ako sa kaniya at humalik sa pisngi.
"Good morning po, kuya." I said and sat in front of him. May mga foods na nakahain sa lamesa.
"How's your sleep? I heard you whimpering in your room? Are you having nightmares?" he said.
I shook my head and looked at him.
"Wala yun, kuya. I was just dreaming." I said. Ayoko nang mag alala pa sya.
Ever since then, hindi na present ang parents naming dalawa. My dad always go abroad and my mom is always busy with her job. Mula bata pa ako, si kuya na ang lagi kong kasama. But now that we're old, syempre nagbabago. May mga responsibilities na si kuya and may priorities na mas dapat unahin. Ikakasal na kasi sila ng girlfriend niya and magkakaroon na rin siya ng sarili niyang pamilya. So it's understable na sila ang uunahin niya. Yun nga lang, wala na akong nakakasama dito sa bahay. He goes home once a week. It's getting lonely.
"Okay, baby sis. If you need anything, just call kuya ha." he said.
"Opo." sabi ko at tumayo na. "Sige po kuya, papasok pa ako eh." tumango siya.
Umakyat na ako sa kwarto at di maiwasang maiyak nang nasa cr na ako. I miss my brother so much. But it's life, it's always changing. Nothing is constant.
After I take a bath, nagbihis na rin ako. I wore an oversized printed t-shirt and a pants. I wore my converse shoes and put some accessories on my hair. I brushed my copper brown hair that I dyed last month. Nagstart na nga magfade.
Nang makarating sa school ay sinalubong agad ako ng mga kaibigan kong pinag uusapan ang mga new found abilities nila. They decided na kausapin yung babaeng nakita ni Aster mamaya after school.
As I listen to their conversation, hindi ko maiwasang mainggit. I've always wanted to have a power. To have this abilities, because I want to be powerful and in control sometimes. Naiinggit ako kay Zara because I also want to feel the essence of water. I also want to have the ability to teleport, to be invisible, and make myself forget all the bad things that happened to me.
