The white door opens to reveal a little blonde girl. She doesn't look much older than four or five. She smiles at us her bright blue eyes shimmering up at us. "Hi. My name's Daisy Mae."

I give her a big smile. "I'm Shyanne and this is my mom, Megan."

"Is your mother home?" My mom asks her.

"No. I don't live with mommy, but my pretend mommy is here." A brunette woman walks by the doorway and then turns back around and walks towards us.

"May I help you?" She asks politely.

"We just..wait. Marie?" My mom asks holding out the cobbler. I swear if she doesn't put that away soon I may just tackle her and escape with the cobbler. That's me...Shyanne Stevens, a wanted cobbler thief. Wait. How does my mom know this lady?

"Megan?" She asks surprised. "Please, come in." She gestures for us to enter her living room. We go in and then sit on a grey love-seat couch. "Now, how've you been?" I look over at Daisy Mae, who is so bored, she's counting polka-dots in a book.

I walk over to her while my mom and this Marie lady start small talking. "Hi. What number are you on?"

"Ten."

"Wanna show me your new room?"

She looks up from her book and gives me a toothy grin. She's missing a few teeth. "C'mon! C'mon!" I chuckle at her enthusiasm. Daisy Mae grabs my hand and leads me up a set of stairs. We walk down a hallway and I see a wooden door that says Daisy Mae written in sparkles with butterfly stickers all over it.

We go inside and I see pink. Everywhere. There's princess posters on the walls and Barbies are scattered across the floor.

"Look!!" She points to her a hole where a tooth should be. "I lost it this morning!"

I bend down to take a closer look. "Well, it looks like the tooth fairy has a job to do tonight, huh?" She gasps and her mouth makes an 'o' shape.

"You believe in the tooth fairy!?" She starts jumping up and down. "Yay! My brother doesn't believe in the tooth fairy. He's grumpy." She starts to giggle. I wonder who her brother is..

I walk over to a little table and she goes over to a little treasure chest. She grabs a few boas, tiaras, and a mixture of different things. She walks over to me. "Do you want to play princesses?" I smile.

"Sure." She hands me a blue boa and I wrap it around my neck and grab a tiara from her hands I put it on and then slip on a pair of white gloves. Daisy Mae puts on a pink boa, a pink dress, some black gloves, and a tiara.

"This is how Princess Aurora waves." She waves her hand back and forth and lifts up her pink dress as she walks around th room.

"You know, my favorite princesses are Belle, because she and I both love books, and Elsa."

"You like Elsa?"

"Of course!" We both start singing 'Let it go' as we walk down the hallway waving like princesses. We reach the bottom of the stairs and walk to mom and Marie.

"Hello, Princess Shyanne and Princess Daisy." My mom says.

"Its Daisy Mae." She giggles.

"Hello, peasants." I say as we walk to the kitchen.

"Who you callin' peasants?" A deep voice says in front of me. I keep walking and Daisy Mae runs to the mystery person.

"Natey! Natey! You're home!" I turn a corner and come a few inches away from Nathan Williams' lips.
