Time dragged on, and weeks turned into months. Chuuya was trapped in that dark room, enveloped by a darkness that seemed to seep into his very bones. The monitor continued to pulse with its hypnotic colors, and the voice repeating "I must obey" had become an unending echo in his mind.

I must obey...

Every day, when Dazai entered, bringing a plate of food and a glass of water, Chuuya felt his will falter. At first, he tried to resist, to oppose every movement Dazai made to feed him. But as time passed, his strength waned. The substances in the food made him increasingly dazed, and each bite he swallowed seemed to rob him of a piece of his clarity.

No! I can't let you win, Dazai! I can't...

But his thoughts grew more muddled, while the voice from the monitor continued to torment him. "I must obey." The words echoed in his mind, and Chuuya felt as though he was sinking into an abyss. He could no longer fight, could no longer resist the current pulling him under.

Why am I here? Why can’t I escape?

Dazai watched him with a gaze that mixed sadism and affection, as if he were observing his beloved as he transformed into something else. Chuuya felt his heart beat with anger, but also with a deep sadness. His life, his choices—everything was slipping away. He felt trapped in a body that was no longer his, unable to resist his fate.

I must stay strong. I must resist. I can’t give in!

But Dazai kept coming, day after day, bringing food and water, and with each encounter, Chuuya felt weaker. His struggles became fewer and farther between, until one day, as Dazai fed him, Chuuya realized he no longer had the strength to fight.

The words "I must obey" melded into his thoughts, taking the place of his own will. Over time, that phrase became his dominant thought, a mantra echoing in his mind, wiping out every attempt at rebellion.

I must obey...

It was all that remained, an empty thought that pulsed along with the monitor, a wave of colors and sounds that enveloped him. Each day that passed, his inner walls crumbled, and Chuuya felt further away from who he had once been.

Finally, one day, after a long silence, Dazai entered the room and looked at him with a satisfied smile. "Well, Chuuya. It's time to see just how obedient you’ve become."

The headphones resumed their relentless mantra. Chuuya felt hollowed out, and as Dazai approached, his heart beat slower, resigning itself to the fate that now seemed inevitable.

I must obey...

And so, Chuuya remained there, trapped between love and hatred, a puppet in Dazai’s hands, while his essence dissolved into the darkness.
