The news broadcast was filled with chaotic and violent images, yet another battle between superheroes and villains. The relentless rhythm of destruction and panic continued, but this time, the attention of an ordinary man was caught by two familiar figures.

“Chuuya Nakahara…?” he muttered incredulously, barely recognizing him. Once the greatest hero of the city, now he appeared unrecognizable: his eyes burned with rage, and his hands crackled with the supernatural energy of his power.

Chuuya was facing a group of heroes, old colleagues who had once been his allies. The news channel covered the entire clash live. The heroes tried to reason with him, but every word seemed to shatter against a wall of hatred.

“Chuuya! It’s not too late! You’re a hero! You’re not one of them!” one of them shouted, stepping forward. But Chuuya shook his head, his face twisted in disdain. “A hero…?” he hissed, glaring at his former comrade. “I despise everything you are. Everything I was.”

For a moment, confusion engulfed him. His heart faltered, his body tensed as if teetering on the edge of an abyss. If he killed his former allies, there would be no going back. Dazai would win. And yet, he didn’t understand why he hesitated.

A familiar touch startled him. A hand rested on his shoulder, followed by Dazai’s voice, a tempting whisper: “Use it~”

In that instant, all doubt vanished. Chuuya surrendered completely, reborn in the darkness that now cloaked him like a second skin. A sinister smile spread across his face as he uttered the word that unleashed his devastating power: “ Oh grantors of dark disgrace, do not wake me
again ”

The heroes’ cries were drowned out by the explosion of energy that obliterated everything around him. The city, the entire world, would never be the same again.

Time Skip – Years Later

The city lay in ruins, an apocalyptic vision reflecting the chaos it had fallen into. The streets were silent, interrupted only by occasional clashes between criminal factions that had seized control.

At the center of this shattered world stood a skyscraper, the last symbol of the power ruling this realm of chaos. On the top floor, Dazai observed the city through the massive window of his office, a satisfied smile etched on his lips.

Chuuya held him gently from behind, resting his face on Dazai’s shoulder. As he embraced him, his gaze wandered over the ruins below, and a fleeting, almost imperceptible thought crossed his mind. Was this truly what he wanted? Years ago, could he ever have imagined himself here, standing beside the man who had destroyed everything he had once sworn to protect?

But that inner voice was faint, a whisper drowned by months of manipulation, torture, and brainwashing. He tried to recall who he had been, once... but there was nothing left to hold onto. Anger, hatred, and love for Dazai were all that remained.

Chuuya smiled, a corrupted smile, brimming with dark satisfaction. The voice faded entirely, smothered by his new reality.

“Everything went according to plan,” Chuuya said with a smug grin.

Dazai nodded slowly, a sly smirk playing on his lips. “Yes… everything turned out just as we expected.”

And as Dazai spoke, the last shadow of who Chuuya had been disappeared forever.
