The main gate of Wilder Chemicals was flooded with news reporters and journalists that morning. Some were there to get to the deep of the newly launched medical line by the company while some just wanted juicy gossips for their articles and some were eager to take on the arrogant man, that Foxen Wilder was, for his behaviour with them in the past.

Since the past evening, Wilder Chemicals' shares in the stock market had drastically dropped. There were reports that on several medical stores, people came to change the company's medicines with other ‘trustworthy’ brands and hence, the new supplying containers were also returned. Foxen's rivals were also not leaving any stone unturned. They had started spreading rumours that other chemicals of the company were in doubt as well as they couldn't be sure what have the workers mixed in the factory.

Christopher, who was watching the entire scenario from the windscreen of his car as he reached office, was feeling a level of satisfaction that could not be classified or categorized in any way. Isabel was seated right beside him on the passenger's seat whereas Foxen was behind them on the back seat as he requested Christopher to not leave him alone. The guy had smilingly assured that he will never leave Foxen.

“Dad, it's time to face them.” - Christopher addressed Foxen.

Foxen had beads of sweat on his forehead even when the temperature outside was nine degrees and the heater was off.

“This is a disaster.” - Foxen said, his eyes searching for a way inside the building among the swarm of reporters.

“It's not. Just do what we have decided to do. It'll work, trust me.” - Christopher encouraged.

“He's right, Dad.” - Isabel piped in. “And you are not alone. You have us by your side.”

Foxen exhaled a long breath, bracing himself to face the situation head on. Christopher had stopped the car quite away from all the ruckus but as soon as they got down, the media spotted them in a second.

Christopher hid his smile as Foxen was being blinded by the camera flashes and if not for the guards, he would have been run over by the aggressive reporters because Christopher certainly wasn't attempting to provide any kind of shield to Foxen. Instead, his arms were protectively around Isabel, eyes sharp on her surroundings to not let any harm reach her.

“Mr. Wilder, is it true your son is involved in drug trafficking ?”

“Were you aware of it or was it happening behind your back ?”

“Is Wilder Chemicals selling drugs in the name of medicines ?”

It was pure madness. The journalists were not coming slow and Christopher was immensely enjoying it. Foxen deserved it and even worse. Which Christopher surely will made him go through.

“Just a minute! JUST A MINUTE!” - Foxen shouted, getting the media to stop bombarding him with questions and listen. “I am going to answer each and every question just be patient with me.”

Was Foxen Wilder requesting ? Where was that arrogance and sense of superiority that he showed the world on Harold Jenson's rightful money ?

“The news of Aiden smoking cocaine was as shocker to me as it was to you. I absolutely had no idea about it and only got to know through media last evening.” - Foxen began explaining. “But, I will not support the claim that him taking drugs is linked to drug trafficking. These are just speculations and no one has any proof to back them.”

Christopher smirked from inside. He had proof but now was not the time to send Aiden behind the bars.

“Still, I'm involving CBSA in the matter who will investigate this on a broader level. That being said, I will also like to clarify that Wilder Chemicals has people's health in its best interest. We are the pioneers of non-toxic chemicals just for our public's safety.”
