A Dead Man's Bride - Cursed One

Chapter 1

A lot of people die everyday and with them dies their dreams, hopes, happiness, faith, desires. Death is an end and also the gateway to an unknown begining but sometimes death is not enough to end what some people expect in life, their expectations keeps them attached to the world of the living and sometimes it is their misrable fate, the condemnation of a sinful deed which keeps a soul tormented and await salvation. They are the cursed ones, the curse owns their soul and keeps them wandering in our world, making them live in the agnoy of eternal doom. Today lets pray for these souls that against all hopes, God's mercy may set them free from bondage of the curse that has kept them captive.

Young Jessica heard this sermon that father Mendez preached from the pulpit, for a child of her age it was quite difficult to comprehend the complexity of that honest sermon but Jessica did put all her trust in what she heard father preach and made her prayers, not just that day but as she grew, everyday she prayed for a cursed soul to be set free. She prayed with faith that God was listning but there was someone else as well who heard Jessica pray.

Jessica was the daughter of Mr. Collin, a businessman who travelled a lot for trade, she had lost her mother when she was five. Her father never gave a thought to getting married again for he loved Jessica a lot and he was not sure if some else would love Jessica the way he and her mother loved her. Jessica was a very brave girl, for being alone most of her life and the assurance of being loved by those around her, the love her mother had for her was her strength. She spent a lot time reading and praying, her faith in prayers being answered was immense.

It was her 18th birthday, her father was home and like always he had invited a lot of friends to celebrate. Father Mendez was there as well, Jessica was very special to him and he was very happy to see her grow with so much of love and faith in her heart. Celebrations continued that night and everyone left giving their blessing to Jessica. Father Mendez however stayed untill everyone had left, he asked Jessica and her dad to meet him at the church tomorrow, it was an urgent matter that he wanted to discuss.
