A Dead Man's Bride - Cursed One

Chapter 28

James followed the monk to his house, he knocked the door a sevral times but then there was no response. Finally he broke the door and got inside and then he saw that the monk had hung himself and given up on life. She was shocked to witness this defeat and broke into tears and he knelt down and weeped bitter tears. There was a note left behind for him, he took it and read: "James Katina is possesed by a dark demonic sprite that is wicked and can only be beaten by a faith which is greater than fear. I am sorry son but I am not worthy to be off any help in this matter but I can tell you one thing, the evil that is behind this has infected Katina with the curse of a dead man's bride, the demon has latched itself to her soul in an unholy marriage. The ritual they have performed with you is to take control of your soul and flesh to bring the demon back. It is weak as off now, for it needs a living body to reach out in its full power to walk this world. Stop it from happening, do not let the demon have any control over you. Keep praying and look out for a pure soul who can pray to our mighty God to lift off this curse of from your life or else it will infect this whole land. Be strong my son, I could only be off help till here, from here on the battle belongs too you.

Then James returned home and the people of the town when they discovered about the monk' death were terrified for he was a beacon of hope for all of them. His death brought a lot of fear among the people and the fear gave strength to all the evil sprite to destroy the lives off many. The sprite too form of the wolf beast to kill and satisfy its thirst for the blood of the innocent. Katina prayed on the blood of young men by luring them through lust. The town was declared cursed for many died a horrible death. No priest was ready to enter this cursed town and finally the remaining people decided to leave the land, they carried the holy scantury from the chaple along and left the town. The chaple was left ambandoned with it's monk' body left to decay where he hung himself. James was lost in woods hunting for Katina and batteling the demon that had destroyed all his happiness and was wanting to take control of his body.

James dedicated his life understanding all that the monk had left in that note and he questioned God all the time why he let such a horrible thing happen to a man who loved and served all his life for his purpose. There was no answer and then one day he noticed something remarkable.
