While Jessica was still in the room crying sitting next to the bed, Rita got up and noticed that Jessica was not there in the room. She looked for her everywhere and when found her in her mother's room, she asked her what had happened. Jessica told her everything and Rita was stunned, for she had heard about the chaple and the stranger and his wife from her grandmother. The people in the town feared the tale and kept away from the woods because of the horror that took place many years ago. For Rita it was astonishing because of the way Jessica narrated the specifics.

Both left to meet father Mendez immedietly, Rita knew this was a bad omen for Jessica.

Father Mendez, "what happened? Why were you sounding so tensed over the phone?"

Rita told him everything that had happened and what she knew about the Chaple.

Jessica, "it is very important for us to go there, to know what had happened and what is the reason for these deaths."

Father Mendez, "I am ready to come with you dear but what about your father, he needs to know."

Jessica, "father if I tell him this he will never allow me to go and now it is a matter of life and death for me to go and find out the truth and help the people of Edunsteen and those souls that need my help."

Father Mendez, "dear one if this is about the souls let me tell you it is no game for the devil will ensure he sends his entire army to stop us from praying for their salvation."

Jessica, "father if that is the case, I am very sure that God has an army as well and He will fight for us. All I need is your help to keep me strong for my sprite is under attack."

Father Mendez, "God bless you little girl for your faith makes me strong too. I will come along to help you Jessica."

Father Mendez sopke to Jessica's father and explained to him that due to an emergency he had to rush back to Edunsteen and if he could allow Jessica to travel. Mr. Collins was reluctant but then he agreed for he trusted and knew that father Mendez must be in need of help and then he had always been there for their family.

Next day they left for Edunsteen and now everything was going to change for the mystery of the curse was shaken by the faith that Jessica was carrying in her heart.
